East Thorne’s all about spending time together in a picturesque setting. The resort’s home to a communal garden area, so there’s plenty of space to doze while the kids play or tuck into a picnic on a sunny day. There’s a volleyball net for those family tournaments, a games room (perfect for the odd rainy day!) and an adventure playground. Speaking of adventure, what is it about kids and campfires? If your day’s not complete without marshmallows and a chat around a flickering fire, the younger members of the clan will love the communal campfire area for those lazy evenings.

You’ll find East Thorne just five miles from the sandy resort of Bude. Perfect for those of you who love to spend the day with your buckets and spades, East Thorne’s so close to those sandy beaches that you can be from your bed to the beach in just a short drive. Summerleaze Beach is one of Cornwall’s best-loved stretches of sand so make sure you put at least one day aside for a visit, and you’ll find Sandymouth Beach just four minutes’ drive away.
