A break at Waters Edge, 3 At the Beach is coastal living at its best. When you step inside your beautiful apartment, you’ll be instantly drawn to the large patio doors that open out onto your very own terrace.

Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely breakfast or catching the last of the summer sun, you won’t want to leave. When you head back inside, you can still take in the view from the comfort of the living room and the modern kitchen will make preparing meals a pleasure.

If you can peel yourself away from your picture postcard view, you can spend your days discovering some of Devon’s best loved beaches and towns; Salcombe and Dartmouth are just a short drive away. If you don’t want to wander too far, you can stroll along Slapton Sands before stopping in a pretty café or the local pub for a spot of lunch.

Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £100 security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. This property is in a fantastic position and of very good quality. We stayed for a week at the end of August 2024, and we could have easily stayed another week! Price was also very good for this type of property. I would highly recommend.

The property is in a splendid location, right next to the sea, and a small walk to the local pub (Start Bay Inn). Inside the apartment is in super condition. The patio table and chairs have been replaced this year and are really good. I really enjoyed my stay there, and have already booked the apartment for 2025.

At the beach gave us everything we wanted. A lovely sea view with peace and quiet. Instant access to fantastic walks. A pub just up the way and a farm shop that does lovely food and the added bonus of a tap room selling locally brewed beer. Ideally situated for day trips to Brixham, Dartmouth and Salcombe, all of which are nice to visit. Would recommend.

A wonderful location

I love this area and have stayed in this apartment a few times. It has a fabulous view from the terrace, and is close to a nice pub. We watched tuna leaping from Star Point, swallows gathering to migrate for the winter, hundreds of wagtails flocking over Slapton Ley, and beautiful sunrises. The good early autumn weather was a bonus! A perfect long weekend. Will be back.

All a bit tired

We have been staying at various apartments at At the Beach for nearly 20 years and have had pretty good experiences, but not so much this time. Outside was infested with flies who got into the place-not much they can do about that but they could let you know and we would have gone with the usual upstairs apartments. The apartment layout itself is dark, crockery and utensils tired and insufficient and the bedrooms very small-not one we would stay in again..

Excellent location but property a bit small for the price.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We had been in other apartments in the building in the past and this one clearly won on the view and the convenient ground floor location. On the negative side we found both bedrooms very small with only room for a bedside table on one side of the bed. In the second bedroom the one side of the bed was against the wall making it difficult to get into and make up. The en suite shower room had no shelf either over the basin or in the shower.

My stay at no. 3 At The Beach

The property is in a splendid location, right next to the sea, and a small walk to the local pub (Start Bay Inn). Inside the apartment is in super condition, with some new dining chairs. I would like to say that the patio table and chairs are starting to look a bit frayed and worn compared to adjacent apartments, and could do with being updated. However, they were still ok to use. There was a water leak coming from inside the roof overlooking the patio (not from the guttering), which occasionally dripped on to the patio, meaning that the table and chairs had to be moved away from it. I really enjoyed my stay there, and have already booked the apartment for 2024.

Excellent quality accommodation in Torcross.The beds were the most comfortable in anywhere weve stayed, seating in the lounge area wasnt very comfortable but we sat outside a lot of the time due to the good weather

Luxury Coastal are the best company to use for UK holidays

We have stayed at 3 At the Beach tow or three times per year for the last 10 years. Luxury Coastal always go above and beyond as does the caretaker, any issues however small are sorted as soon as possible. Wouldnt stay anywhere else and wouldnt use another company.

I wanted a holiday where I could hear the sea ,and I got exactly that it was so relaxing. The place was spotless and had been modernised to a high spec there is a lovely nature reserve just across the road,also a great pub the start inn with delicious food within walking distance.
