7 Days before Christmas Events in Devon; Luxury Coastal

We’re in the final few days before Christmas and the excitement is mounting. Wreaths have been hung, trees adorned, and gifts have been beautifully and carefully wrapped (unless you’re like some of us who will wrap frantically and haphazardly the night before).

House of Marbles Late Night Shopping

A uniquely themed evening with special offers and delightful surprises. Find gorgeous last-minute gifts and enjoy a free gift-wrapping service… and if you’re hungry spoil yourself with a delicious meal in the onsite restaurant.

Bay of Lights Illumination Trail Torquay

Explore the 1.5-mile route past Torre Abbey, Torquay seafront, Fleet Street and into the town centre, and discover glittering and unexpected surprises along the way.

Free and accessible, our fantastic new attraction can be enjoyed by all ages

Where? Torquay

From 4:30pm, with sound elements until 9:30pm and lighting displays until 11:00pm.

Festival Carol Service at Buckfast Abbey

Set in the beautiful and historic Abbey Church, visitors will be treated to readings, traditional Christmas carols and choral music sung by the Abbey Choir.

Christmas at the Zoo

A fantastic event for families. Experience the zoo’s delights along with a visit to Santa in his grotto (Mrs Claus will be there too as she reads you a story). There will also be family friendly activities on site to add to the fun.

Britain’s Best Community Market with all the trimmings! Set on the edge of Exmoor, this fabulous indoor pannier market with over 70 stalls is hosting a festive-inspired shopping experience.

Cockington Christmas Treasure Gift Trail

This prate-themed adventure is perfect for younger members of the family. Pick up a treasure map in the Manor House for £1 and hunt for hidden treasures tucked away in pirate chests! Grown ups can enjoy last-minute gift shopping from the local makers onsite, or simply enjoy a stroll around the grounds as the kids find their treasure. Pirate fancy dress is welcomed!
