So we built a self-catering agency that puts service above everything else.

It started in 2018 over breakfast in an M&S cafe in Torquay.

For ten years we’d all worked together in a large self-catering agency in different roles. We’d grown up with the agency, got better with them, learnt the ropes – all the do’s and don’ts. We loved it. We got a real kick out of it: working where we lived and seeing visitors having great holidays in beautiful properties in our own communities.

So when the agency was bought we saw an opportunity to create something really special in the industry. Something built on who we were as people, where we came from, and what we believed in.

Property owners and their guests deserve exceptional service, and we knew we could deliver it. There was a niche the big firms often overlooked… High end, coastal properties in the South West’s most sought-after destinations, looked after with a personal touch by people who genuinely cared about visitors’ experiences.

So we pooled our passion and knowledge and launched Luxury Coastal. We started with a handful of properties across the South West, making sure we were always on hand to help guests and owners alike with whatever they needed.

And here we are…

From that breakfast, in a few short years we’ve grown to represent 100s of stunning holiday homes of all types across the South West. We’re proudly independent and we try hard every day to offer the kind of service guests and owners really want, the same things we want when we book a holiday – honesty, fairness and personal attention. So we’re always available if you need a bit of local insider knowledge, or market advice, or to fix things quickly if there’s a problem.

We use our experience to do things better, share the good stuff, and try to put back into the communities we make our living from. The business is constantly changing, but our values have stayed the same. Because we always wanted a business where we could just be ourselves.

We’re grateful that people seem to like what we do, and we’re excited for the future.
