FAQ’s for cottages with wood burners

  • Are logs and firelighters provided for my stay?

    Most of our properties supply a starter pack of wood and firelighters which should be enough for your first fire. Please refer to the description on our website, as each property is individually owned and managed so we will state if you need to bring additional logs or not.

  • Do I have to clean the fire out on my departure?

    Each property provides a Welcome folder with the information you will need about the log burner in your holiday home. Included within the folder will also be instructions on how to operate the wood burner.

  • Can I use charcoal for the log burner?

    Some of our property owners do not permit the use of charcoal so please do refer to the information provided in your Welcome guide, or alternatively please contact our Customer Service team who will be happy to answer any questions.
