For those who prefer to stay dry, Braunton remains a firm favourite for walkers. The largest sand dune system in Britain can be found at Braunton Burrows and this is a wonderful place to discover nature. Traversing varying landscapes there are many trails to discover, and for those keen to make a day of it, the 30 mile Tarka Trail linking Braunton with Meeth, offers fantastic views of the surrounding scenery.

Braunton village is home to a number of lovely pubs as well as restaurants. Dishes are derived from locally sourced, fresh produce and a real treat when you fancy a meal out.
