What makes Devon a great place for holidays with dogs?

Dog friendly dining out

Devon’s coastal villages and towns are on the whole, extremely accommodating to dog owners with most pubs, bistros and restaurants welcoming canine companions, even if only to their outside tables. It’s always worthwhile planning ahead by checking the websites of the local eateries in the town where your holiday home is located, and of course, if you’d like us to do the legwork just give us a call and we’ll be more than happy to find this information out for you.

Dog friendly beaches in Devon

This is something we could go on about for days because Devon’s beautiful coastline bursts with some of the best beaches in the land. Unfortunately, as you know, during peak times of the year many of the most popular beaches do operate dog bans which can be limiting but let us set your mind at ease. There are many great lesser-known spots that allow dogs all year round so it’s worth keeping these in mind when booking your next stay. Some of our favourites include Goodrington North Sands, Slapton Sands, Beesands, Sidmouth (East end), Soar Mill Cove, Woolacombe, Westward Ho!, Putsborough and Instow.
