We did it! We came away with Silver at this year’s British Travel Awards for the Best Company for UK Holiday Home Rentals.

We’re still pinching ourselves that it actually happened! We were up against some amazing businesses in our industry so we were thrilled and surprised to scoop second prize.

As you know, since 2008, The British Travel Awards have been running the country’s largest public opinion poll. To give people a way of recognising and voting for their favourite travel and leisure companies within Great Britain. So we felt truly honoured to simply be nominated as one of this year’s finalists.

Being the small independent South West travel company we are, we’re passionate about providing our guests with top notch holidays and great service. In just under four years since we started Luxury Coastal, we’ve worked hard to do exactly that.

And there’s nothing that beats us hearing about the positive experiences you’ve had, directly from you. After all, that’s why we do what we do!

The awards night was held at Battersea Evolution on Tuesday 29th November, and what a night it was! Our founders and directors made the trip to London for this special event (from left to right Mike, Luke, Tavis, Laura, Phil and James).

The lovely Alison Hammond was compère for the night and we were even treated to a number from Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice (Laura was very happy about that!). An evening of delicious food, live music and magnificent entertainment followed, not to mention the much anticipated award ceremony.

Rubbing shoulders with just about every well-respected travel and leisure company in the industry was something quite special. The calibre and scope of the services and products showcased was a real feather in the cap for British travel and tourism especially since the Covid pandemic. Which is why we wish all of the other winners and finalists a huge congratulations.

We couldn’t have won the Silver award without your support; our wonderful owners, guests partners and friends who have continued to support us from the very start. This means the world to our team, we are bursting with pride! Thank you!
