October half term is done and dusted, Halloween ghouls have recoiled and the clocks have rolled back into their winter slumber… so can we finally start talking about Christmas? We think so. In fact, we are just a tad excited about the onset of winter and this year’s festive season; so much so that we have decided to share our excitement with the LC Loves Local Guide to Christmas.

Our guide will cover all things festive in the run-up to the big day and into New Year’s Eve celebrations. We’ll share our favourite Christmas markets, crafty workshops and unique events that can be found here in the South West… we’re talking enchanted trains adorned with lights, hundreds of Santas lined up ready to embark on the famous Boxing Day swim, and everything in between.

The traditional Christmas market has gained in popularity over the last few years and is now a firm favourite in our festive social calendars. Mulled wine, Bavarian-style chalets and local craftspeople come together, creating a joyous spectacle not to be missed.
