Your At The Beach property

Set just a skipped stone’s distance from the beach and sea, these lovely properties have been individually furnished and styled to offer a collection of relaxing retreats for families, couples and friends to enjoy.

The At The Beach development consists of two buildings – the main apartment building which sits on the seafront, and the converted carriage house which lies behind the main building’s car park. The properties in the carriage house are duplex homes with private garages and a bedroom on the ground floor, while upstairs they have open plan living / kitchen / dining areas and a second light-filled bedroom.

Many of the apartments have wonderful views out to sea or across to Slapton Ley Nature Reserve, a haven for wildlife throughout the year and, as the name suggests, you can be on the beach within minutes.

If you love to holiday with your four-legged friend in tow, the three-mile shingle beach welcomes dogs all year round and you’ll find a number of pet friendly choices in the development too!

Parking for the apartments is in the rear car park and is private with code access and a boom. Spaces aren’t allocated and are available on a first-come first-served basis, however there is free public parking in the area as well as a nearby long stay car park (just a couple of minutes’ walk away).

Island adventures

One of South Devon’s best family beaches, Bigbury can be reached by car in around 45 minutes and is well worth the journey. Here you’ll discover fine sands and clear water with shallows that are ideal for young children to splash about. Conditions are generally really good for novice surfers too so if you’d like to try your hand at the sport, it’s a good place to start. One of the coolest things about Bigbury Beach though is its views of Burgh Island which lies just offshore. It has a fabulous hotel and restaurant which was built in the 1920’s and has welcomed many famous movie stars and writers. The island is tidal and can be reached by a ‘sea tractor’ when the tide is high.
