Things to Do Near The Sands

Other routes include the walk to Porthkidney Sands (just beyond Hawkes Point), which is especially brilliant for those with dogs, and the walk to St Ives, both of which take in the natural beauty of the area. Guests may also wish to venture to nearby Hayle, with its peaceful Estuary and birdlife, and the golden sands of Towans which invite long, leisurely days spent on the sand or in the surf.

St Ives is also easily reached by car and here you’ll discover a picturesque harbour, several brilliant beaches and a town brimming with art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants.
