Top notch fixtures and amenities

Eco-friendly in design and function, each home boasts energy-efficient features that make them not only super comfortable, but also kinder to the environment. Clad in larch to echo the beauty of the surrounding nature and with solar panels to harness the sun’s energy, the homes are warm in the winter, and cool in the summer, while the addition of Smart technology for their lights and heating mean there’s even more time for guests to relax. Professionally designed interiors add lashings of luxe with contemporary furnishings and high-quality fixtures creating superb homes for holidays with family and friends.

The space inside

Light-filled, airy and spacious, the homes boast an uncluttered open plan living / dining / kitchen area that lends itself as much to chilling out together as it does to entertaining. Large windows throughout and sliding doors to the deck invite the outside views in, while high ceilings with sky lights flood the space with natural light.

Cook up a storm in the high spec kitchen which comes complete with stone worktops, breakfast island and seating, a range of built-in appliances like Neff induction hob, oven and microwave, fridge-freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Meals can be savoured, and boardgames played around the large dining table before picking a sofa to unwind on for movies in front of the huge flat screen Smart TV.

Upstairs are two of the homes’ beautiful bedrooms: a twin which can be configured to a super king, and a king size with its own decked balcony. Downstairs, the master king size room has its own en-suite, with a second twin room also on this floor. Three fully tiled bathrooms sport top of the range fixtures and fittings, two with walk-in shower cubicles and one with a shower over bath, while outside a large decked area and shared grounds invite fresh air dining or and relaxation in the sunshine.

The space outside

Set in a quiet countryside location these homes offer guests an idyllic retreat for their holidays in Woolacombe, with rolling green landscape as far as the eye can see. Designed to make the most of this setting, sliding doors opening from the interior living spaces outside mean that during the warmer months you’ll be able to extend your entertainment area on to the deck where you can dine in the fresh air or watch the sun set over the valley with a glass or two of bubbly in hand.

Guests with their dogs in tow can enjoy the extensive shared grounds, and of course with the beach and South West Coast Path both being so close by, there’s plenty of opportunity for walkies!

A shared outdoor swimming pool is available on site for guests to use mid to late May until end September.

Where to find Adventure

If you’re looking for lots of outdoorsy stuff to do during your stay at Willingcott, you’re in for a treat! Of course most of your time will be spent down on the award-winning three-mile beach at Woolacombe whether hitting the waves, or sun worshipping on the sand, and if it’s surfing you’re after, there’s no better place, with numerous companies offering equipment hire and lessons. Families will find all the space they need for kids to run free, paddle in the shallows or explore rockpools, while seasonal lifeguards ensure safe family swimming when the beach is busy.

There are other fantastic beaches in the area too including Croyde, Puttsborough Sands, Saunton Sands and Lee Bay. All are within a few minutes’ drive from Woolacombe, so if you fancy exploring even more of the beautiful North Devon coastline, you won’t need to travel far.

The South West Coast Path offers numerous walking routes, and with all that magnificent scenery on display you can take your time and soak up the beauty of the coastline in all its glory. Avid cyclists can join the Tarka Trail which starts at the Esplanade along the beach then joins a narrow bridleway where you will have fantastic views of Woolacombe to your rear and Putsborough up ahead. The route takes you to the quaint and picturesque north Devon village of Georgeham where you’ll be able to pop into the Rock Inn for a refreshment.
