.For anyone in search of the ultimate beach break, Crantock is a one-of-a-kind holiday destination. Its traditional village setting means guests can experience a more laid-back atmosphere, while being so close to Newquay means everything it has to offer is right on the doorstep.

Beachview Apartment 4 is ideally suited to couples and small families. There’s a lovely open plan living area which has doors leading out to a furnished balcony, and from here you’ll have fantastic views over the sea as well as Crantock Beach which lies a few minutes’ walk away. Underfloor heating keeps this apartment warm in the cooler weather and there are two comfortable bedrooms, one with its own en-suite and one with with zip and link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements. Two contemporary bathrooms means there’s plenty of space for four guests, and the kitchen has a good range of appliances and utensils so that you are able to cook and entertain during your stay.

Of course, coastal adventures are all about being outdoors, so Beachview has a brilliant, shared garden with tables and seating for picnics in the sunshine. The area has an astroturf lawn which is ideal for ballgames or for letting the kids blow off some steam, before heading down to the beach for more fun on the sand and in the surf.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 1 pet allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas
    Number of steps: 1 flight of stairs to reach the apartment.
    Type of heating: Underfloor heating
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Nearest EV Charger: EV charger on site is available for a charge of £50 per week. Please only use this if you have paid the additional charge.
    Travel cot and highchair: Available upon request, please add at time of booking.
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.
    Coffee Machine: Cafetiere
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

Delightful modern apartment!

We so enjoyed staying in this fabulous apartment! The view is stunning and we enjoyed it even on rainy days! The place has got good equipment, it’s very comfy and having two bathrooms was the icing on the cake!!

Mixed feelings

Pros: The location of the apartment was great, easy to find, free parking and a clever door locking system which meant you didn’t have to take a door key out with you. Dog friendly space outside as well. Comfy beds, great shower and really decent sized shower towels (ones that cover everything!) were all other bonuses. Cons: we had driven for several hours and when we arrived at the apartment we were desperate for the toilet, no hand soap was provided so we had to immediately go back out again and buy some. It may sound trivial but it was actually really irritating and not ideal. Also no basic things are included such as any teas or coffees and perhaps a little stingy on toilet rolls. We ended up buying extra of these too. The walkway and doors are quite loud, we heard every movement from the people above us walking round their apartment. Unfortunately the building next door was being renovated and the builders turned up at 8am a few days and blasted their radio which was very inconsiderate. Overall we had a nice time, came home exhausted from poor sleep and the hand soap really irked us.

It is good to know you found the beds comfortable and enjoyed the shower and towels. I apologise you thought it lacked basic amenities such as tea and coffee but as our properties are self catering we only provide the facilities to make these. We do also only provide enough toilet rolls to start your holiday and we apologise you were irritated by the lack of hand soap.
