Equidistant between both the north and south coasts, Godolphin Cross is just a 10-minute drive from Praa Sands in one direction and Hayle in the other, so for beach-lovers it doesn’t get much better. The stunning town of St Ives with its historic Downalong, art, and food scene, lies about 25 minutes’ drive from the property, and even closer to home is the Museum of Cornish Life in Helston, St Michael’s Mount in Marazion, and the popular fishing village of Porthleven with its iconic harbour and famous Kota and Amelie restaurants. For those who enjoy nature-infused getaways with plenty of walks in the countryside, Godolphin Cross which sits in the heart of rural Cornwall, is as perfectly positioned. Encompassed by fields, farmland, and the 500 acres of woodland at the National Trust’s Godolphin House, there are many beautiful paths to explore in the area including the circular walk to Tregonning which has panoramic views from Godolphin Hill.
This delightful barn conversion has two comfortable bedrooms and a large family bathroom on the ground floor, with an airy open-plan living space upstairs which includes a contemporary kitchen, dining nook, and sitting area. Perfectly suited to relaxing holidays near Cornwall’s coast, the property also has a fabulous wrap-around enclosed garden which is ideal for those with dogs, and outdoor furniture, a fire pit and a BBQ meaning guests can dine, unwind and entertain in the sunshine.
Captains Loft lies close to an ancient wood which teems with wildlife including birds of all varieties, so the sound of birdsong creates a magical atmosphere.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: 1 pet allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
