Forget Me Not Cottage is also within walking distance of great restaurants, including 45 Queen Street and The Shore, as well as historic Chapel Street, home to landmarks like the Turks Head and Egyptian House. Various good pubs can be found dotted around the town, like the quirky Admiral Benbow. For a pint with local flavour, The Crown, a charming microbrewery pub, is just two doors down from the cottage.

From the cottage, it’s a short stroll to Penzance’s vibrant shops, galleries, and coffee spots. Head out on foot to discover the town’s thriving artistic scene, browse local independent bookshops, or enjoy a coffee at one of the many fantastic cafés that give this area its unique character.

For guests looking to enjoy a car-free stay, the cottage couldn’t be in a better location. Penzance train station is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the property. For nearby destinations including Newlyn, Mousehole, Land’s End and Porthcurno, the local bus network will get you there and back with ease.

Getting to St Ives is a breeze, with direct trains from Penzance to St Erth, where you can transfer to the picturesque branch line. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the UK, this short, scenic trip offers stunning views of the Cornish coast.

If you fancy a day trip to the Isles of Scilly, simply hop aboard the passenger ferry at Penzance Ferry Terminal, less than 15-minutes’ walk from the cottage. The 3-ish hour journey is a fantastic way to see Cornwall’s marine life up close.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change). Please bring your own beach towels.

A selection of glasses, cutlery, crockery, cookware and utensils are provided
*The coffee machine takes Nespresso Original pods which guests will need to supply
