Overview

Just a twenty-minute walk or three-minute drive to Sennen’s glorious sandy beach, Chyvounder is a dreamy place for holidays on the Cornish Coast. A contemporary and fully-equipped open plan kitchen / diner has doors leading out to the garden which is fabulous for socialising in, and there’s an elegant living room with sumptuous seating and flat screen TV where you can catch up on your reading or enjoy a movie night in.

The home’s three bathrooms along with three gorgeous bedrooms (all with TV’s) means six guests have all the space they need to be completely comfortable. The bedrooms include two super kings (one of which is en-suite with French doors opening outside, and one of which can be configured to twins) and a double which is also en-suite.

Outside lies a verdant wraparound garden with grass, decking, outdoor furniture and a chiminea which is a lovely spot for fresh air dining or for lazing in the sunshine. The home is dog-friendly too so for those guests who are travelling with their pooches in tow and need a place for them to stretch their legs, it’s a real plus. For walkies there’s nearby Gwynver Beach which welcomes dogs all year round, and the coast path sits within very easy reach of the front door too.

Only a few miles from Lands End, Penzance and St Ives, this small coastal village is home to the stunning long sandy beach of Whitesands so if a holiday of sunbathing, swimming and water sports is what you’re after, it doesn’t get much better. Of course, Sennen is also a surfing hot spot so you’ll find several local surf schools in the area where equipment can be hired and lessons can be booked with qualified instructors. A surf shop, cafes, fish & chips takeaway, weekly local market, The Surf Beach Bar, and local pub The Old Success Inn, all add to this beautiful coastal village’s charm, making it a magical place for holidays on the Cornish coast.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
    Coffee Machine: Nespresso coffee machine, guests will need to bring their own supply of coffee
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
