Benefiting from a south facing and enclosed, private patio Snowdrop has peaceful views over open fields. With its wide opening patio doors, its bubbling hot tub and comfortable patio furniture, you can make the most of the sunshine and private outdoor living at any time of the day.

Inside, Snowdrop’s super comfortable, attractive open-plan layout gives plenty of space for socialising and family time, whether for atmospheric movie nights in, enjoying a board game or preparing a delicious meal in the well-equipped, spacious kitchen. Cosy for two but comfortably accommodating up to six guests, the lodge’s three beautiful bedrooms have plenty of cupboard space and include an attractive master bedroom with a king size bed and roomy en-suite bathroom, as well as two lovely twin bedrooms (one of which can be configured to a king size on request), and a large family bathroom.

Stunning Roadford Lake is just two minutes’ stroll down a woodland path. It offers a great choice of dog-friendly walking and cycling routes for guests to enjoy and for the active the lake’s nearby Activity Centre offers a variety of water and land-based activities including kayaking, paddle-boarding and sailing. There is even a gym on the park for guests looking to keep fit whilst away.

Perfect for families, friendship groups and couples looking for a happy escape, Snowdrop Lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay - a wonderful place to enjoy each other’s company and the beauty and peace of the Devon countryside. Well behaved dogs are most welcome and a bonus of Snowdrop Lodge is that the patio is neatly enclosed so that (most!) dogs will be safe and secure within the lodge plot.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, we are unable to accept cats and other pets, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: The resort caters for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the Devon lakeside setting. It’s also perfect for gatherings making the most of the on-lake activities that are available on Roadford Lake.

Parking
The lodge has parking for two cars in an allocated space at the front of your lodge.
There are a limited number of additional visitor parking spaces outside reception, on a first come first serve basis

EV Charger Point
The site has two EV charging points for guest use, situated along from reception in two designated parking spaces. The EV charging point is by VendElectric, and charging will have associated costs as normal via their app. We kindly ask that once your vehicle is charged, that you park in your lodge car parking space to ensure the EV spaces are free for other guests on the site.

Tranquil and relaxing holiday

A wonderful, multigenerational week for us at Snowdrop Lodge! We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome pack that included yummy treats for both us and our dog! A gorgeously modern and immaculately clean lodge with everything you would need to enjoy a holiday in a home away from home. Nicky has been a brilliant host, answering our queries efficiently and sorting the one small problem we had immediately. We have had a lovely time exploring the local area - Lots of beautifully scenic walks (Roadford Lake has some gorgeous walks, mostly on gravel paths do not too muddy), a trip to Launceston Steam Railway, kayaking on the lake, a nice meal at the Green Dragon, watching the cows and sheep from the hot tub and SO much more! A perfectly peaceful place to drop and flop but equally a great location to get to local attractions. Really looking forward to our next visit!

My 4 night stay at Radford lake lodge

A lovely place to for a relaxing break, good quality accomodation in very good condition. The Only downside for me was the lack of EV car charging stations. There was only one station on the site with two sockets and only one of those was working so it was virtually impossible to get on to that to charge my car. I had to drive miles to recharge my car at a much higher cost which overall spoilt the holiday somewhat for me and my partner. It's left me disappointed. There needs to be more facilities for electric vehicles onsite before I come back.

We stayed at snowdrop lodge for 5 nights and from the moment we stepped in the door it just felt so relaxing and peacefull, the lodge was fitted out to a very high standard and was equipt with everything we wanted. Having the hot tub was amazing and so private just looking out across the field. On arrival we were left with a bottle of prosecco, apple juice, biscuits and a large bag of crips from the owner which was a lovely touch. We will definately come back.

Wonderful place to stay we enjoyed the views especially soaking in the hot tub while the sheep wondered around the field next to us. Walking the dogs around tge lake was great then having tge dog wash facilities were great. Everything had been thought of making our lives easier, & the hamper was a lovely touch & very much enjoyed thank you x

We had 4 cottages for a local wedding and I stayed in Snowdrop. It was more than expected. Had everything we needed and more. Most of us came from Portugal and definitely are thinking of having a family meet up at Roadford Lake. Very helpful on site.

Beautiful Lodge

What can we say, Snowdrop Lodge was beautiful, we booked on short notice and were amazed as soon as we walked through the door, dog friendly of course! spacious very modern, beautifully decorated and a gift pack awaited aswell. The hot tub was a welcome sight and was used daily after exploring Devon and Cornwall in our weeks stay. The lodge felt like a home from home, lots of room for clothes in the sliding wardrobes, plenty of towels, hot water and outside patio for morning coffee watching the sun rise. We were very lucky to have a beautiful sunny weather whilst there. The Lake cafe on site was lovely we had breakfasts and lunch there on a couple of days, water for dogs and doggy ice creams, beautiful view and lovely walk for our dog. We also hired a paddleboard which we got a discount for as we were staying at the lodges. We had a chilled out week and are looking forward to returning in the future.

The lodge was beautiful, I could move in to one permanently. The hot tub was amazing. Everything you could possibly need was thought of by the owners, there is even a few games and books, we enjoyed a family games night. The welcome hamper was lovely. The site is lovely and peaceful and is an amazing place to switch off and relax for a holiday, would recommend to everyone for a nice relaxing holiday
