Set mere metres back from the sparkling waters and sun-bleached shingle at Slapton Sands, our At The Beach apartments offer couples and families luxury accommodation in an unrivalled waterside position.

Architectural lines and lovely sea views give the interior at number 15 The Penthouse a spacious and airy feel with designer-inspired furnishings and sleek mod cons adding to the apartment’s comfort. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms provide ample space for six guests with the master suite offering exceptional views over the Ley and beach beyond. Arranged over two floors the living areas comprise a fantastic open plan living / dining and kitchen area on the upper level, with a reading snug and bedrooms located on the lower. Both living spaces feature flat screen televisions with DVD players and Playstation 4 as well as a selection of games, books and DVD’s so even on rainy days there is plenty to do indoors.

Outside, a communal patio area with table and chairs creates a relaxing space to enjoy, while beach walks and outdoor excursions in the surrounding area which has been named one of Outstanding Natural beauty, are just a stone’s throw from away.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: No pets allowed
    Number of steps: Three steps up in to the main building and then two internal flights of stairs
    Type of heating: Central heating
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
    Coffee Machine: Neff 'bean to cup' coffee machine - please check the instructions in the Welcome Folder before using.
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

Please note, ongoing improvement works are taking place to the exterior of the At The Beach building until the end of June 2024. During this time parts of the render will be removed, with new render applied and painted. Exact dates and times of the works will be weather dependant. Welcome to At The Beach, Torcross

At the Beach occupies a prime position in the sleepy South Devon village of Torcross, perfect for those who like to kick-back and relax. Many of the apartments have wonderful views out to sea or across to Slapton Ley Nature Reserve, a haven for wildlife throughout the year and, as the name suggests, you can be on the beach within minutes.

Enjoyable

The apartment was well equipped, for our daily needs. We had an enjoyable stay, it was a shame that we only had a few days of sunshine. We recommend visiting Pennywell farm the grandchildren really enjoyed the animals, especially the pigs!

Review 15A at the beach

Very nice, clean and modern and beautifully decorated. Warm upstairs in the living room and kitchen, slightly cooler downstairs in the bedrooms. We found the heating difficult to use and in the end didn’t use it it. The instructions were available, however we couldn’t get it going. Could have just been us but we spent ages trying to get the heating on and in the end gave up. The beds were slightly uncomfortable. The entrance to the building looks tired and quite un inviting and could do with a tidy up and made to look a bit more welcoming but that said all in all a nice stay.

A wonderful stay in an upmarket Apartment/Penthouse

The apartment was clean and fresh on arrival. It is furnished beautifully. Bedding was clean, snow white and quality! Bathrooms are beautiful and the towels were, clean, large and fluffy- lovely!! The kitchen has all the mod. cons. needed/very high tech, but perfect! When we first went into the Penthouse(upstairs), it was very hot, but once we opened the velux windows, the through breeze was lovely! (Just note: my husband is 6 foot 3, and he had no problems with the sloping ceilings (you just need to be careful if you go to the back fridge). The fact that the apartment was at Slapton Beach, was also brilliant! All round a brilliant holiday, sorry we had to go home!

Our stay At The Beach

As advertised clean, comfortable and well equipped. Enjoyed the jacuzzi bath, the Neff kitchen included induction hob dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine, the Quooker tap was new to us but we found it very good. Very quiet enjoyed waking up to the sound of the sea one side and the wildlife of Slapton Ley on the other.
