If you’re looking for a rural retreat that offers more than most, this beautiful roundhouse in North Cornwall’s countryside is an absolute dream.

Inside, the space is bright and airy thanks to the high ceiling and large port hole skylight. The main bedroom is open plan with the kitchenette, while a second separate double bedroom offers privacy and versatility for couples or groups travelling with children.

Outside to the front of the lodge you’ll discover an alfresco dining area as well as your very own hot tub which sits behind a locally crafted metal privacy screen; perfect for daytime dips in the sunshine while the meat sizzles away on the BBQ or long lazy soaks at night under a blanket of stars.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £50 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.

To the front of the roundhouse is a private area laid with Cornish stone gravel and lawn. A picnic bench for outdoor meals, charcoal BBQ and an electric hot tub that sits partially hidden behind a large metal screen

East Thorne offers a host of amazing on-site and shared facilities to complete your glamping experience too:

Tallet Barn: A covered seating area with two large tables seating 12 at each. Hanging heaters, chimineas and a large wood burner keep you warm and dry. A great space for larger groups to gather together. Available on a first come first served basis

Clay pizza oven: Create and cook your own delicious wood-fired pizzas. Simply let the site know ahead of time that you’d like to use the oven during your stay

Fire pit: A huge fire pit in the middle of the site with rustic seating. Perfect for toasting marshmallows, enjoying a sing-along and getting to know people

Animal feeding: Guests will love the paddock on site which has American Pygmy goats, chickens, geese, a very large pig and an assortment of different birds in an aviary. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays the site offers animal feeding which is a great activity for younger members of the family

The Hive: Fresh and frothy coffee, hot chocolates and teas served from a converted horsebox every morning except Mondays and Fridays (April to October). On weekends you can also nab fresh, locally baked pastries like croissants, pain au chocolat, and cinnamon swirls

A wonderful, quiet site with great lovely hosts

Our 3 night stay was lovely here. The cabin with well equipped and very clean. The hottub was kept at the perfect temperature, ready to go at a moments notice. Being away from all the light pollution meant the sky was beautiful at night! Plenty of parking and only a few minutes drive into Bude. The cabins are well spaced so we didn't have any disruptions from fellow guests and the farm animals were a cute surprise.

We enjoyed our stay and it was 28 * every day spring tide is so nice theres only small niggles I had where they can improve the bed in main room too small needed hooks in bathroom to hang stuff the cooker was a pain be good to have had our car next to us a hook to hook door on as I used the jacuzzi steps. People were very friendly and helpful decor lovely very enjoyable .

We had a wonderful weekend at Luxury coastal.The owners were very welcoming and more than happy to offer any help or advice. The cottage was clean and tidy with everything we needed. The location was perfect, plenty to do nearby, lots of places to eat and beautiful beach.We would definitely recommend luxury coastal and hope to return in the future!

Lovely little break away!

This is a gorgeous little find, remote enough to feel secluded but close enough to have things within a short drive. The roundhouses are in general well equipped and the hot tub is amazing. The only few things I would change is - there is no longer a freezer in the fridge in the roundhouse but a communal one, I wasnt keen on this idea and made something luxury not feel so much so. The under floor heating isnt clear on how it works and the manual they send is for a different system. It was set incredibly high in the bedroom which made it quite uncomfortable until we worked out how to turn it down! There is lack of drying spaces for swimwear, an airer or something would be good. You have the small towel rail in the bathroom but thats it. In general and as a whole this place is gorgeous and I would recommend it to anyone. Its a few tiny niggles that could make it completely outstanding (rather than very good)!
