Number 2 is a tastefully furnished and superbly spacious ground floor apartment within The Whitehouse development: a small group of exclusive properties just 400 meters from Watergate Bay’s wide sands.

Gorgeous furnishings and high-end features grace every room in this home so you’ll feel completely comfortable and relaxed during your stay. The apartment centres around the stunning open plan living space where you can cook, dine, unwind and entertain, with big bay windows showcasing lovely views over manicured gardens and down to the sea. Doors from the lounge/diner lead out to the sunny front terrace where lazing in the sunshine, eating al-fresco, or watching the sunset with a glass of bubbly can be enjoyed, and there's a modern electric fireplace as well as underfloor heating to make the apartment equally suited to wintry getaways. For post-surf sessions, you can unwind with a movie on the 50-inch Smart TV in the lounge, enjoy a game on the PlayStation 5, or chill out while listening to a favourite playlist on your bedroom’s Sonos Bluetooth speaker.

Whip up the simplest suppers or the fanciest of family feasts in the chic kitchen where you'll have all you need to make home cooking a breeze. You can gather around the breakfast bar for freshly brewed morning coffees before heading to the beach, and the wine cooler will keep your drinks optimally chilled for those sundowners on the terrace when you're back at the apartment. Three fabulous bedrooms offer ample space for six guests and include a master with a king-size bed and its own en-suite, a lovely twin with two full-size singles, and a super king which can be separated into twin beds to suit your group’s arrangements.

Watergate Bay is a beautiful spot on Cornwall’s north coast. A playground for surfers and water sports enthusiasts, it has sweeping golden sands, clear waters, and plenty of space for sunbathing, beach games and dog walks. Surrounding the beach are a handful of terrific restaurants including WAX which is brilliant for families, as well as the Watergate Bay Hotel’s superb on-site restaurants. The South West Coast Path meanders above the beach offering a lovely walk to Bedruthan Steps in the direction of Mawgan Porth, and Porth Beach in the direction of Newquay.

Please note that Watergate Bay hosts the annual Boardmasters Music Festival in early August. This is a vibrant, well-attended event with ‘higher than usual’ noise levels. Please do get in touch with our team if you’d like more information.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £200 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas.
    Number of steps: 1 step into the property, single level apartment
    Type of heating: Electric fire in living room and underfloor heating throughout
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Travel cot and highchair: Highchair available within the property. Guests will need to bring their own travel cot if required.
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.
    Coffee Machine: Nespresso Krupps pod machine and coffee percolator
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
