Set on the edge of Exmoor National Park, Kentisbury Grange is a beautiful site with landscaped gardens and far reaching countryside views, as well as a fantastic restaurant at The Coach House.

Designed with both couples and families in mind, this contemporary lodge has recently undergone a makeover and features a tastefully styled, gorgeous interior as well as a range of fabulous modern amenities. There are two lovely en-suite bedrooms and a gorgeous open plan living room with a large picture window that has views of conifer trees, adding a Scandi vibe of the property. A fully kitted out kitchen means you can whip up meals with ease, with an open plan dining area where you can relax and enjoy eating together.

Two sets of glazed French doors open out to a superbly spacious wraparound terrace with a private hot tub and outdoor furniture making it perfect for lazing the days away to nothing but the sound of ducks paddling on the lake below.

We ask our guests for a £100 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. 
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests. In a recent speed test, the download speed was recorded at 30.3mbps and the upload speed 32.1mbps, as with all Wi-Fi networks we are unable to guarantee speed and connectivity.
Hot Tub: Electric hot tub
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Coffee Machine: Each lodge has a Lavazza coffee machine, including a coffee starter pack with 4 pods for the machine, 2 of them are decaf.

Delightfully decorated, really well situated and a really nice break. This is our 2nd stay and we would stay again although this time Everybody at Kentisbury Grange is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant onsite is delicious. Hot tub is by far the best bit!

A lovely Christmas break in Parracombe Lodge

We stayed in Parracombe Lodge over Christmas time and this is the second time staying at Kentisbury Grange. Its definately worth the long drive and wished we could have stayed longer.. Beautiful setting. Hot-tub was at the perfect temperature. Theres everything you need at this comfortable lodge with the Grange Hotel just a short walk if you dont want to cook. My only feedback would be the single bed mattresses I found uncomfortable, they could do with a topper on them as I could feel the springs, the bedding is however very lovely. Note: remember to sign out if using Netflix and Prime before you leave.

Superb views, A luxury lodge....

The views from the front of the lodge were superb.. overlooking the lake with other lodges in the foreground. The lodge itself was luxurious, with nice touches such as dressing gowns and slippers - also good to have a few tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk pouches too - which meant we could have a brew whilst unpacking. Hot tub was fab too. Whilst we knew reception from mobiles and internet could be poor, we didnt find this to be the case, but the television in the lounge area - simply couldn't be watched, as it was so pixalated (didnt find out til late 1st night we tried other tv's in the lodge and these worked)- as a couple who like to unwind on holiday sitting watching tv together in the lounge this was a disappointment, especially considering the price we'd paid for our stay. Unfortunately we hadn't informed reception due to the time we had found the issue but we did let them know on check-out, and they said they would have moved us to another lodge - to be honest we were happy and settled in the lodge so wouldnt have wanted to move. Overall somewhere we would stay again - if finances allow

My husband and I stayed for a quiet getaway. The lodge was very comfortable, bed felt luxurious and I loved soaking in the bath while watching tv! The deck area was lovely but unfortunately the weather wasnt good so didnt use it much. We didnt get time to use the on-site restaurant or bar. Location was good, close to the coast and to Barnstaple both of which we visited.

The lodge was fabulous, clean, spacious and very comfortable indeed. The weather was not great, so we didnt get as much use out of the fabulous deck and bifold doors as if it had been warmer, so the hot tub was much appreciated. The one small downside of the lodge was that the rain dripping off the overhanging tree was very loud in the bedroom, but that is a small price to pay for the beautiful setting. Our only negative comment was a very poor meal in the coach house on the night we arrived. The management refunded us, but it was a disappointing start to the holiday, and we didnt eat there again.

I would highly recommend this beautiful lodge, it is spacious, clean and comfortable, with stunning views in a beautiful location. We could have spent an entire week at the lodge as opposed to a couple of nights! We will most certainly be recommending to family and friends and looking to return also with our Daughter.
