The table and chairs on the decking mean you can dine al fresco and enjoy those lake views. And back inside, the stylish fitted kitchen will make cooking for the clan a pleasure. Floor to ceiling windows fill the living space with light, and we love the way the open plan design means you can spend time together without feeling crowded. The log burning stove adds a cosy feel to evenings, and just imagine stepping out of the hot tub and into the living space for a family film night.
If you’re hoping to strike a romantic note, the four-poster bed in the master bedroom makes this lodge extra special. Draped in beautiful fabric for a fairytale feel, you’d be forgiven for staying in bed for the whole of your stay! Willow Lodge has a modern décor throughout. Whether you’re planning a special break for two or some time as a family, it has a welcoming feel that will make you feel instantly at home.
The South View Lodges resort is all about lakeside living in six acres of quiet woodland. Spend your days wandering around the lake, or rambling in the surrounding countryside while you enjoy your escape. The city of Exeter’s just a short drive away too, so you’ll never be far from a shopping spree or a spot of fine dining. You name it, Exeter has it, so there’s something to suit every kind of visitor. And when you return to the lodge, make sure the kids check out the play area beside it – perfect for building their own wig wams!
Important Information
- The lodge accepts one dog. Two small dogs may be accepted if requested at the time of booking
- Please be aware that this lodge is 25 meters from the lake so children will need to be supervised. To the side of the lodge there is a lovely area for children to explore and collect sticks and build wigwams!
- This lodge is 100% wheelchair accessible and we have recently made a path from the lodge down to the lake and put in a concrete fishing swim making it accessible to all.

Security Deposit:We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This is held from the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: 1 pet allowed, £40 per pet per week/ stay, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas
Number of steps: The lodge is accessed by four steps. A ramp is available for increased accessibility into the lodge. If you require a more accessible lodge, we would recommend No.6
Type of heating: Central heating
Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.
Wood Burner: There is a constant supply of logs for the log burning stove on request

Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: South View Lodges is a site that caters for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the Devon lakeside setting. It’s not suitable for party groups.
Additional Extras: Fishing is available at £10.50 per person, per day. Breakfast Hamper for two £41, Bottle of Champagne £61, Bouquet of Flowers £46 - All of these can be added at the time of booking or via our guest portal.

We had a fabulous time at Willow Lodge. Jill was the perfect host. Great communication and very responsive. Check in and checkout went smooth as silk. Will always remember the the great view from the back porch and the ultra-soothing hot tub.
