Landau apartment in the village of Stokenham is a lovely place for holidays in Devon's stunning South Hams. Within just a couple of minutes' drive of Slapton Ley and Slapton Sands in Torcross, it's an idyllic spot for beachy getaways and back-to-nature breaks with family and friends. Newly renovated, the apartment lies on the first floor of an original coach house and along with its own parking, also offers storage for bikes, kayaks and SUPs.

The property has plenty of space for four guests and includes two bright bedrooms and a contemporary open plan living / dining area as well as an amply equipped kitchen, all of which are framed by the beautiful views over the countryside from its sash windows. Outside you’ll discover an extensive shared garden with a furnished terrace where you can enjoy outdoor dining together, and with wonderful vistas that extend right down to the sea, this is also picturesque setting for morning coffees and evening drinks. A charcoal BBQ is also provided which guests may use at the property or take down to the beach - perfect for warm weather feasts or sizzling sausages on the fire as the sun sets over the water.

For those who relish walking and being out in nature the area offers plenty to see and do. The South West Coast Path which picks up the route to down Torcross then on to neighbouring Beesands, is virtually on the doorstep. Alternatively, visitors can choose the flat and scenic route around Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve, the largest natural lake in south west England; a peaceful place for a stroll and for spotting the local bird and wildlife.

An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Devon’s South Hams has many wonderful beaches to explore too, including Slapton and Blackpool Sands, Beesands, Bantham and Mill Bay which are all within easy reach. Those who enjoy laid-back breakfasts or a wood-fired pizza for lunch will love Stokeley Farm Shop which is just around the corner from the property, and for a traditional country pub experience, the Church House Inn (just a short stroll away), serves delicious modern versions of pub classics in a gorgeous setting.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.

Spacious modern apartment with great views

We had such a lovely stay at Landau! The apartment is spacious, clean and has everything we needed for a family with a young baby. The location is also perfect as its very quiet with lovely views of the hills and sea. There is a path all the way down to the seafront where there is a restaurant, pub and shop. Thank you very much. Perfect in all ways

Couldnt have asked for a better place and location. Emma and Jonathon were the perfect hosts, even greeted with homemade scones, jam and cream plus a few cold beers and fresh apple juice in the fridge. The apartment was stunning, everything you need and more. Very clean, everything looked new, just wish our kitchen was as good. Location is peaceful, stunning view and garden to relax in. Within close walking distance are 2 good pub/restaurants, then little further the Stokenham farm shop with cafe and mirco brewery, then little further Torcross. Plenty of walks straight from the front door. Parking within the property and if you ask you can store a kayak or SUP. The location is close the main road so easy access into Kingsbridge or Dartmouth. We will definitely be returning, Thanks
