With original oak beams and stone floors leading to the large fireplace that still retains markings from days gone by, you can hunker down on cool evenings, warming your toes in front of the cosy wood burning stove with a mug of hot chocolate and favourite holiday read.

Two sumptuous bedrooms offer a peaceful retreat to unwind at the end of the day. And for an extra touch of luxury, the free-standing roll-top bath invites you to relax and the fluffy white robes help you to get cosy after a long soak.

The beautiful grounds come to life in spring and the mature gardens provide a tranquil haven for leisurely lunches or barbecue feasts taking in the late evening sun.

The cottage has been part of the Dillington Estate since at least 1725 and the Grade II listed farmhouse and courtyard form part of the impressive 3000 acre estate. You can wander through pretty country lanes and discover woodland walks from your doorstep. We believe that all country walks should end with a hearty meal in a good pub and you are lucky to find a fine selection just a short walk or cycle from your cottage.

This cottage can also be booked with Atherstone Farmhouse for larger groups.

    Pets: 2 pets allowed, £50 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas
    Number of steps: There are two steps up in to property and the ground floor has steps up and down to the kitchen and living area and one internal flight of stairs up to the second floor.
    Type of heating: Central heating
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
    Wood Burner: Kindling and logs are provided for the wood burner, additional logs are stored in outdoor area. Free to use if needed.
    Coffee Machine: Cafetiere
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
    Property surroundings: Owner lives on site. There is plenty of alternative parking next to the Farmhouse in the gravel area by the farm buildings. Guests should just be mindful to leave plenty of room for turning tractors and not block access to the barns.

We ask our guests for a £500 security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
