Overview

Perfectly proportioned both inside and out, guests will have all the space they need to enjoy time together, with the pod’s contemporary interior being well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. There’s a sumptuous living room with sofa and TV where you can curl up with a good book and enjoy the views down to the river, as well as a kitchen / dining area for preparing and sharing meals. The bedroom which features a double bed and picture window, has a separate shower room alongside. Treat yourselves to morning lie-ins with the doors open or step out on to the timber deck where you’ll be able to unwind in the sunshine with a cup of coffee or breakfast. Designed with relaxation in mind the pod comes complete with its own private wood-fired hot tub, outdoor furniture, and a fire bowl which doubles as an outdoor grill that's perfect for chilled out evenings and al fresco dinners.

Just a 10 minute walk away, the Pheasant Pub (a favourite in the area) is a terrific place to while an afternoon or two away with good food and drink, or for those who don’t mind a short drive, The Ring O’Bells and The Burcott are also close by. A wealth of nature-infused attractions such as Wookey Caves (about 8 minutes’ drive), Cheddar Gorge, and Kilver Court and Gardens (both about 20 minutes) lie within easy reach, while Wells with its cathedral, shopping, restaurants and heritage sites, is the perfect day out. There are also several good beaches in the area including Burnham-on-Sea (with Britain’s shortest pier) which is about 30 minutes’ drive away, and the pebbly Kilve which is a little over an hour’s drive.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is wood-fired and rests on the decking. Logs for the hot tub are supplied and more are available to buy on site
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: This pod is second in the row from the parking area (between Morgan Sweet and Bramley)
Guests may walk around the owners’ gardens where there are two resident pigs named Polly and Sally, and a troop of hens
Additional Extras: A firepit with grill attachment which doubles as BBQ. A starter pack of logs is provided but more logs can be purchased on site.
Outside tap is available at each chalet for dirty boots
There is a £25 wood package available for the hot tub. This includes the hot tub being lit prior to your 4.00pm arrival. Please add this bookable extra onto your stay and reach out to your local contact if you anticipate arriving much later than 4.00pm.

Amazing time would go again!

Perfect weekend away for me and my partner. Everything was perfectly clean when we got there, easy to figure out how to get in, heating and all the kitchen stuff. Had a great time meeting the two residential pigs, Polly and Sally, and all the birds! Amazing time couldnt have been better!

Not bad.

Location was peaceful. Hut was clean and made good use of the space, great bathroom cosindering the size. The woodfired bath (no bubbles) was decent but takes several hours to heat up, so bare that in mind. Its also tricky to keep it at a tolerable temp. Unfortunately the hut had a rather strong scent of paint and the towel heater seemed to be on constantly so the temperature in there was almost uncomfortable. Probably wouldn't stay again for the price.

All hot tubs need to be drained and refilled before a guest's arrival, meaning both wood-fired and electric hot tubs will take several hours to heat up and may not be ready until late on the day of check-in or the morning after. Couldnt recommend the place highly enough, pod was extremely clean with more than enough inside, outside though is brilliant with the little hot tub looking out to the stunning views! Site was very quiet even on a Saturday night with all pods full! Look forward to coming back again soon! 10/10

Lovely relaxed get away!

We thoroughly enjoyed our little break at Apple Tree Glamping for my partners birthday. I added on a bbq pack and birthday balloon for added touches the bbq pack was so yummy! The little extras really made it the mini booze on arrival the marshmallows and extra wood/kindling/fire lighters were a brilliant touch to make life easier for everyone! The location was great was nice and quiet perfect for the quiet weekend we wanted.
