Overview

Bramley is a cosy, yet well-equipped luxury glamping pod with all you’ll need to feel right at home. There’s a lovely decking area with views over the lawn and down to the Lower River Axe, where you can BBQ or soak away in your very own hot tub. Inside you’ll discover a welcoming space with a lounge for relaxing in, and a kitchenette with combi-microwave for home cooking. A dining nook provides you with a place to share meals indoors when the weather’s cooler, and on warm days you can fling open the double doors that lead out to the deck, and let the fresh Somerset air and sunshine inside. A lovely double bed and en-suite shower room offer you all you’ll need to get comfortable during your stay, and with plenty to do right on your doorstep as well as an idyllic setting, this luxury pod is perfect for those wishing to relax or explore.

Just a 10 minute walk away, the Pheasant Pub (a favourite in the area) is a terrific place to while an afternoon or two away with good food and drink, or for those who don’t mind a short drive, The Ring O’Bells and The Burcott are also close by. A wealth of nature-infused attractions such as Wookey Caves (about 8 minutes’ drive), Cheddar Gorge, and Kilver Court and Gardens (both about 20 minutes) lie within easy reach, while Wells with its cathedral, shopping, restaurants and heritage sites, is the perfect day out. There are also several good beaches in the area including Burnham-on-Sea (with Britain’s shortest pier) which is about 30 minutes’ drive away, and the pebbly Kilve which is a little over an hour’s drive.

The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wifi dongle.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is wood-fired and rests on the decking. Logs for the hot tub are supplied and more are available to buy on site
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: This pod is positioned in the middle of the row (with two pods on either side). Guests may walk around the owners’ gardens where there are two resident pigs named Polly and Sally, and a troop of hens.
Please note that for insurance purposes, the Apple Tree Glamping site only accepts guests and does not permit visitors. This includes the car park which is solely for guests’ use.
Additional Extras: A firepit with grill attachment which doubles as BBQ. A starter pack of logs is provided but more logs can be purchased on site.
Outside tap is available at each chalet for dirty boots
There is a £26 wood package available for the hot tub. This includes the hot tub being lit prior to your 4.00pm arrival. Please add this bookable extra onto your stay and reach out to your local contact if you anticipate arriving much later than 4.00pm.

We stayed here for my birthday and was welcomed by the owners who are very friendly! The accommodation was very clean and have lots of facilities (stove, microwave oven and washroom). The location was perfect, we visited local pubs and visited Glastonbury too.

The surroundings are beautiful, we had a gorgeous time here and loved the accommodation and hot tub. Matt and his Mum were so lovely, loved chatting to them and getting to know the animals and birds! Lots to do near by, an absolutely gorgeous and novel break for a busy Londoner!

A haven within a stones throw of a historic city.

The middle one of five pods.However complete privacy as each one has its own fence.A quiet and secure haven with a view of rolling hills and the sounds of the animals on the small holding attached.You can sometimes see the ducks chasing each other down to the stream. Based within a gated environment total reassurance of utmost security. Peaceful enough you can hear a pin drop but Matt is based on the main house and is happy to help with any enquiries.Compact but with everything you need for your stay and the bonus of a hot tub and a lovely old pub down the road the ring o bells serving portions to satisfy the most ravenous of appetites.Close to lots of activities to see and do.Throughly recommend.Loved little touches such as mini Prosecco and bottle beer and chocolates.

Amazing weekend break!

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at Apple Tree Glamping to celebrate end of exams. The pod was spotless and had everything we needed for the weekend. The welcome drinks, chocolates and marshmallows to toast were a lovely touch. Matt the owner helped us get the fire started to heat the hot tub! Lovely views from the hot tub and a great location. A few pubs in walking distance and very close to Wells, cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury! I would definitely recommend this property!

It been wonderful staying here . If you need somewhere to go and relax, this is the best place to book , the photo is how the place actually looks like and it very clean. The owners was very welcoming , lovely and helpful. 20 min drive away there's the cheddar gorge, very nice small town with a nice mountain and views for you to see and hike . I will Be coming back here, thanks you for my amazing stay

Fantastic

This was a fabulous very last minute get away. It was so peaceful,relaxing and the owners were so friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean and the little extras on arrival were amazing. The only one slight criticism was that it takes you 2 to 3 hours to get the fire warm enough to heat the hot tub, and then there is no way of controlling the heat other than letting the fire go out and it very slowly cooling down, It just hot hotter and hotter so we had to get out. I obviously missed the piece about it being a woodfired hot tub in my haste to book so no criticism on the owners at all. If you were staying longer than two nights it wouldn't be a problem at all as there would be plenty of time to get to grips with it. We can't wait to go back .

Spent a weekend here and would recommend to any future 'Glampers' looking at a relaxing weekend away! The location was just right for little trips to the City of Wells, or just exploring the little villages around the area! The local pub 13th century was also very friendly, the food was very good (have a medical condition, so can't say if taste was ok!? But I my Partner enjoyed it). Don't overheat the Hot Tub!!! (As I found out!) 2 hours to heat it! 3 hours to get in it after letting it cool down but once in! It was wonderful to just chill and soak in the area and location.
