Overview
Inside, you’ll find everything you’ll need to be comfortable during your stay. There’s a lounge for lazing, kitchen / diner for preparing and sharing home cooked meals, and a cosy bedroom with double bed and en suite shower room. Double glass doors open out to the deck where views over the grass and down to the Lower River Axe can be enjoyed, and there’s a fabulous wood-fired hot tub as well as firepit / barbecue for alfresco dining and entertainment.
Just a 10 minute walk away, the Pheasant Pub (a favourite in the area) is a terrific place to while an afternoon or two away with good food and drink, or for those who don’t mind a short drive, The Ring O’Bells and The Burcott are also close by. A wealth of nature-infused attractions such as Wookey Caves (about 8 minutes’ drive), Cheddar Gorge, and Kilver Court and Gardens (both about 20 minutes) lie within easy reach, while Wells with its cathedral, shopping, restaurants and heritage sites, is the perfect day out. There are also several good beaches in the area including Burnham-on-Sea (with Britain’s shortest pier) which is about 30 minutes’ drive away, and the pebbly Kilve which is a little over an hour’s drive.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver

The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £15 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is wood-fired and rests on the decking. Logs for the hot tub are supplied and more are available to buy on site
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: This is the first pod in the row (closest to the parking area). Guests may walk around the owners’ gardens where there are two resident pigs named Polly and Sally, and a troop of hens.
Please note that for insurance purposes, the Apple Tree Glamping site only accepts guests and does not permit visitors. This includes the car park which is solely for guests’ use.
Additional Extras: A firepit with grill attachment which doubles as BBQ. A starter pack of logs is provided but more logs can be purchased on site.

There is a £26 wood package available for the hot tub. This includes the hot tub being lit prior to your 4.00pm arrival. Please add this bookable extra onto your stay and reach out to your local contact if you anticipate arriving much later than 4.00pm.

We recently stayed at Apple Tree Glamping to celebrate our anniversary, and I can honestly say it was the most peaceful and necessary escape we could have asked for! From start to finish, everything was perfect - we couldnÂ’t have been happier with our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that made the experience extra special. We had booked some additional extras, like rose petals on the bed and a helium balloon, to set the mood, and the hosts went above and beyond by leaving complimentary drinks and chocolates - a lovely and unexpected surprise! The hosts were absolutely amazing - friendly, accommodating, and always happy to help with any questions we had. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests truly made the stay even more memorable. The entire place was spotlessly clean, with a cosy and inviting atmosphere. We loved the experience of cooking on the fire pit, and of course, the hot tub was the highlight - the perfect way to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. We cannot recommend this place enough! If youÂ’re looking for a romantic escape, a peaceful retreat, or simply a luxurious glamping experience, this is the place to be. WeÂ’ll definitely be booking again! Huge thanks to the wonderful hosts for making our stay so special.
