Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, the cottage has verdant views from many of its rooms and is warm and welcoming throughout. The spacious sitting room has a Smart TV for evening entertainment, and comfy sofas you can unwind on with a cup of tea and a good book. A lovely woodburner throws out heat in the colder months keeping things warm and toasty, while on sunny days, the delightful courtyard garden with its outdoor dining set and BBQ is the perfect place to enjoy fresh air relaxation.

The cottage’s farmhouse kitchen is the heart of the home and has a range of appliances and utensils to make cooking a breeze, with a wooden dining table to gather round for breakfast, or to plan the day's adventures.

Both bedrooms are upstairs and include a light and bright double, and a pretty twin room. The family bathroom on this floor has a bath with shower over, while downstairs there’s a shower room for de-sanding after a day on the beach.

The surrounding area has so much to offer. Polgoon Vineyard is a three-minute drive from Buryas Bridge and makes for a lovely place to taste locally produced wines or juices from their orchards, while Trewidden house and garden lie on the doorstep. Just five minutes away lies Newlyn with its brilliant restaurants and vibrant local art scene. Continue along the coast to Penzance and discover a fabulous, heated lido as well as historic architecture, or head in the other direction to Mousehole – one of Cornwall’s prettiest villages – where cobbled streets, sea views and delicious seafood lunches await. The South West Coast Path runs close by, with the walk from Mousehole to Lamorna Cove especially beautiful, while the National Trust-owned Trengwainton Garden (just ten minutes away) offers a peaceful stroll through its lush grounds and is ideal for guests with dogs in tow.

A little further afield, the white sands and turquoise waters of Porthcurno beckon, where you can visit the world-famous Minack Theatre, carved dramatically into the cliffs and overlooking the ocean.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver: We ask our guests for a £100 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. Alternatively, a one-off, non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 1 pet allowed. £40 per pet, per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property provides free Wi-Fi for our guests. There may be occasional variations in speed and performance due to factors outside of our control. If you're planning to work during your stay, we suggest bringing a Wi-Fi dongle as a backup

There is one clearly marked parking space for the cottage on the front drive. Additional parking can be arranged on site upon request

Beautifully presented cottage

Ideal base for visiting this lovely part of Cornwall. We particularly enjoyed Tremenheere Gardens and St Ives. Penlee House is also well worth a visit, and Tanglewood is a tranquil haven if you enjoy a quirky and less manicured garden. Cottage hosts are on site and very welcoming and helpful.

What a fantastic cottage it was amazing the condition the fittings and what a welcome pack. I highly recommend this cottage private garden with a gas barbeque which I used on three occasions treated the barbeque with respect by using foil on the griddles. The lounge was so relaxing with a high quality TV and smart box. Bedrooms and bathroom and a shower room downstairs. Stayed for 2 weeks and the owner even asked if I wanted a mid stay clean!! and fresh towels wow. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed. Andrew Bridport Dorset
