Suites by Luxury Coastal collection is a room only option comprising a bedroom for relaxing and a luxurious bathroom. There are no kitchens or cooking facilities within the Maritime Suites.

Situated on the top floor of a beautifully refurbished historic building, this stunning boutique bolthole forms the penthouse within the Maritime’s five luxury suites. Positioned overlooking Brixham’s vibrant harbour and idyllic marina, Provident offers couples a uniquely indulgent way to experience local life in one of Devon’s most iconic fishing towns.

Featuring a combination of gorgeous design elements and tasteful décor, the suite includes a spacious bedroom with a luxury super king size bed, a lounge with wall-mounted flat screen television and sofa, as well as bespoke occasional pieces of furniture; all coming together to create the perfect place for whiling days away in utter relaxation.

Flooded with light from its large, angular windows there’s a sense of luxury and space throughout, with a sprawling, beautifully fitted modern bathroom adding to the quality of the suite. With its unrivalled vantage point from which to take in the ever-changing moods of the town below and ideally positioned within Torbay, Provident creates a decadent base to retreat to after days spent exploring the towns and villages that line South Devon’s wonderful coastline.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Additional Extras: Please note there are no kitchen or cooking facilities within the suites.

Room Information

Introducing Suites by Luxury Coastal
Our new suites have all the comforts you’d expect from a Luxury Coastal stay; beautiful bedrooms, large bathrooms and wonderful views, however you won’t find any kitchen facilities as the suites are rented on a room only basis.
Sleeping & Relaxing
The main entrance to the Maritime suites building is accessed via 13 wide steps. Provident is the penthouse suite located on the third floor which is accessed via two flights of stairs (30 in total)

The Bedroom
Provident is a spacious penthouse suite set into the eaves of the building with far reaching views across Brixham harbour and beyond. You’ll be greeted with a sumptuous super king size bed with integrated luggage storage, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The cosy seating area features a small sofa, glass coffee table, Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. A Bosh Tassimo coffee machine with Costa pods is provided along with an under-counter fridge.

The Views
Three pretty windows look out towards the harbour, whilst a fourth window has views across the marina.
Bathrooms
The spacious bathroom stretches the length of the suite, with a free-standing roll bath, walk-in shower cubicle, twin basins with mirrors, heated towel rail and WC.
Shared Facilities
You will find a shared utility room on the first floor with a selection of mugs, glasses, crockery, and cutlery along with washing-up facilities if you wanted to bring takeaway food or drink into the property.
The shared utility room also features a sink, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
All tableware and facilities are to be used on a first come first serve basis.
Parking Options
Whilst there is no designated parking for the suite, there are plenty of options in the surrounding areas. There is unrestricted parking in residential roads within a 10 minute walk, plus many car parks too.

Beautiful weekend away!

Wow, a beautiful well maintained and clean suite. We recently spent a fantastic weekend away that was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure (boat trips from the harbour recommended) The accommodation was cozy yet modern with stunning views of the harbour. The room was filled with the essentials that you need to make your stay that little more comfortable, the shared utility is an inspired addition. The bathroom was large, modern with a stunning bath as the centre piece. The local food was fresh and delicious. It was a perfect escape from the usual routine, offering a refreshing break without feeling too rushed. We highly recommend Maritime for anyone seeking a short getaway!

Lovely clean room with view , large bathroom. Unfortunately being on the top floor it was difficult walking , we had to keep bending to one side due to the eves of the roof because it was an attic room Small niggles include there not being a mirror near a plug socket to dry hair , freestanding toilet roll holder that fell over in the night , water heater for hot drinks, we had to fill up with single cups of water from the bathroom, then when you pressed the button it filled the cups to the top so had to empty some in bathroom before we could put t bag in, small TV on wall Positives , lovely big comfortable bed , nice towels and hand-wash, ideal using a code system for doors but had to make sure we had our phones with codes on b4 we went out, very quiet , so clean Would we stay again , yes but not in brixham , continuous noise all night with trawlers coming in and out offloading their catch and a fork lift truck beeping all the time for safety as it moved the trays of fish off the Quay Lovely fish restaurant called rockfish , best fresh fish ever , had a lovely afternoon watching the seals in the sunshine polishing off a bottle of wine Thankyou team 8/10

Nice but not quite luxury

Great location, seriously fantastic views. The room was big, bathroom massive! The standard of finish was initially very good but there were some things that let the place down: No plug in the bath so you couldn't use it as a bath The on/off knob for the shower was dodgy and would just spin around indefinitely. Got 2 toilet rolls and 4 coffee pods for 5 days stay which seems a bit stingy for a luxury place. There was a giant brown stain on the duvet itself. The place was still nice and the location fantastic but it lacked some tlc.

Excellent views of Brixham

Stayed at the Maritime for 5 nights, the access to the Maritime is all managed by keypad which was pretty straightforward. Our room had fabulous views of Brixham harbour, the only thing to be aware of the eves in the Provident suite are low and we had to keep ducking to avoid hitting our heads, which we did a few times. I would stay at Maritime again in one of the other suites. No parking, we found parking in one of the residential areas nearby.

Brixham stay at Provident Maritime Suites

The property was excellent & very good value for money,however no hand soap or any cleanser in the bathroom. A coffee machine was provided but no pods to go in it. My biggest concern which I reported whilst staying there was the lack of instruction for the water heater/ kettle. When it reached temperature the water just poured out without warning regardless of whether there was a vessel in place to catch it. I have never come across this type of appliance before and found it to be very alarming when caught out on several occasions.

Maritime Suites is perfectly located in Brixham with an amazing view of the harbour. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The decor is modern and it comes with all the facilities needed. No on-site parking but recommendations received at the time of booking were extremely helpful & a short walk away. I am sure we will be back!

Great luxury Brixham Base

A lovely weekend was had by us both at this accommodation. The owners have achieved the luxury look and feel and I wouldnt hesitate it recommending to anyone going down in the near future, but because of some minor wear and tear issues Id like to see addressed, I would caution if looking to stay too far into the future. The shower, whilst awesome and luxurious was difficult to turn on and off as those fittings for turning it in on and off had worked loose. Hopefully this can be addressed. The double sink vanity is beautifully presented but there is a crack in the left-hand basin where minor amounts of water escape from so that isnt really fit for purpose at the minute. It would have been nice to have a few Tasimo pods for the coffee machine provided but instead there was a brown paper bag of instant coffee sachets, teas and sugars, which I felt the presentation left them down a little. The position of the TV with and sofa does make enjoying that area more challenging as the to is in the side wall meaning you have to twist, the TV is also not viewable from the bed. This is a picky point as theyve done very well with the space provided, but the bed area may benefit from an additional TV or a slight room adjustment perhaps to really think through that space and elevate there experience. The shared kitchen is a really clever idea and I felt works really well for the property. Im being super critical above and trying to highlight improvements that would elevate the scoring further. It really is a super accommodation and you can evidently see how much effort has gone into providing that luxury feel. The super king bed was very comfortable and the entire stay was immensely enjoyable.
