Overview

Mulberry Lodge typifies what Strawberryfield Park is all about. The spacious interior has been finished to an exceptionally high standard with comfort and luxury running throughout. From the artwork you see when you open the door, through to the unique furnishings, and premium brands dotted throughout the lodge, you can’t help but know this is special place to spend time as a couple.

Outside the sunken tub is a perfect place for some you time and it the stars aren’t putting on a show naturally the fairy lights in the outside alcove ceiling are the to add to mood. The decked area is also furnished with outdoor sofas, sun loungers and an outdoor dining setting. On a chilly night the woodburning stove adds to the warmth and atmosphere and you can curl up to watch a favourite show on the Bang and Olufsen TV. The bathroom features a free standing bath and double shower and with the comfort of the super king bed just a few feet away, you're sure to have everything you need for a memorable stay.

If you can prise yourself away from the lodge there is an abundance of things to do in the local area and the cider barn at the front of the site is a great pit stop for some traditional Somerset hospitality.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £125 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: No pets allowed
Number of steps: No internal steps, three steps to access the lodge with a small porch
Type of heating: Fully heated throughout
Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
Wood Burner: Guests can bring their own logs or purchase them through the site if they require the use of the log burner.
Coffee Machine: There is a coffee machine.
Hot Tub: Private sunken hot tub
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Additional Extras: There is a cot and a high chair available upon request, as these are not stored at the property, please add them to your booking if required. Additional extras such as a bottle of champagne, flowers and logs are available. These can be booked directly through Strawberryfield Park once you have placed your booking.

Strawberryfield Park is a peaceful resort that caters for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the Somerset countryside. If your booking falls outside either of these groups, please get in touch before making your booking to discuss your requirements.

Lovely lodge

Had a lovely stay, was very comfortable and relaxing. Only issue we had was the hot tub filter needed cleaning as there were bugs, fluff and hair everywhere but otherwise had a lovely weekend.

Really easy to find and when we entered The lodge we were very happy with the cleanliness of the place. Loved the hot tub in the evening and really impressed with the lodge in general. Looking at booking another visit next year.

Great location, lovely hot tub and well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately not as quiet as wed hoped as next to a road and the hedge had been cut back so no privacy around the hot tub, we could see a new hedge has been planted which will rectify the privacy issue. The use of duck down in the bedding and soft furnishings is something I wouldnt use but this is a personal preference. This is a lovely lodge and we had a very relaxing weekend and will be coming back again.
