Overview
One of six luxury lodges on an exclusive site in Braunton, Broadpath is a one bedroom, pet friendly property with a huge veranda and oodles of airy, indoor space. The master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious king size bed that has its own modern en-suite bathroom. Timber accents and sumptuous soft furnishing give the room a welcoming atmosphere and huge floor to ceiling windows invite views from the garden inside, making it the perfect place to enjoy a lazy lie-in before heading to the beach for a day of exploration.
The property’s living area is a relaxing space and includes a large sofa as well as a table and seating for dining. Open plan with the kitchen, it’s the ideal place to spend time in, whether it be to cook a favourite meal together or simply to unwind with a glass of wine and a movie. Accessed through french doors from the living room, the large, covered deck is furnished with a table and chairs, so warm summer evenings can be spent dining alfresco or enjoying a soak in the hot tub while waiting for the sun to set.
Cutterbrough is the first lodge on the left as you enter the orchard, Swanpool is the middle lodge of the three on the left hand side of the site, and Broadpath is at the top of the orchard, last on the left.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver
We ask our guests for a £50 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £15 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, a fixed fee of £25 per dog for a short stay of 2-4 night stays and £40 per dog for a 7+ night stay is chargeable, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

We stayed for a last minute long weekend. We stayed with our 18 month old daughter for a long weekend. Was in the perfect location for commuting to woolacombe, Ilfracombe etc. Brilliant beaches nearby. We didn't bring out dog this time on our holiday but a very dog friendly lodge with a lovely garden. The garden for this lodge is very much an orchard with trees dotted around the lodge garden and natural foliage, all securely enclosed. The only thing to note with this lodge garden is that a child/ dog is not always in sight in this lodge garden so not ideal for some, but our toddler loved being chased around the trees, although we would have loved a flat open view garden so we could have sit and relaxed whilst she played but believe the other lodges may have this. A brilliant stay in a lovely location and have told all family/ friends about these lodges!

A Perfect Lodge for a relaxing break

We had a lovely relaxing stay in Broadpath at Great Field Lodges, Braunton. The location was perfect for a quiet weekend away, very peaceful. Our dog loved the garden and it was secure so she couldnt wander off. The Lodge was amazing it was so nicely decorated and the hosts had provided everything we needed, even bathrobes. The hot tub was undercover which was great and there was an outdoor warm shower which I thought was ideal for the hot tub. Normally in must places weve stayed in you have to walk through the lodge to get showered before so this was a great idea. There was dog treats, poo bags and a towel for the dog and we had milk and a bottle of Prosecco. Its situated in a lovely part of Devon with lots of walks from the lodge to the coast and plenty of places to visit locally especially Saunton Sands and Braunton Burrows. We will definitely be staying here again. Wonderful lodges set out in a perfect setting for a break away.
