With its famous fish quay, vibrant harbour and fantastic food scene, life in Brixham is something pretty special. And the good news is that you don’t have to be a local to feel right at home here.

Characterful, charming and friendly, you’ll find this seaside town is a wonderful spot for holidays with family and friends. With wide bay views, coves and coast path walks, those who love the outdoors will have plenty to keep their fresh-air cravings satisfied, while visitors who enjoy eating out, shopping and child-friendly entertainment will be kept equally as busy (and happy!).

Set just behind the harbour and within an oar’s length of the nearest restaurants, shops and cafes, White Star offers an ideally positioned and attractively presented home for four guests. Tastefully furnished and with everything you need to be comfortable during your stay, you’ll have an open-plan living / dining and cooking area to socialise in as well as two lovely bedrooms for a great night’s sleep. Your living space opens out to a balcony where you can sip your morning coffee in the sunshine before heading into town to explore.

Brixham’s attractions are just a few steps away and if you fancy a delicious breakfast before setting off on your adventures, try The Curious Kitchen or Port Espresso. The Western Lady Ferry makes for a scenic way to pop over to Torquay for the day, or hop in the car and head to Dartmouth, Blackpool Sands or Torcross across the River Dart. Of course if you’d prefer to enjoy Brixham itself, you can stroll along the seafront where the kids can go crabbing over the wall, snack on fresh fish and chips on your way to the Breakwater, or spend the day paddling or relaxing in the sunshine down at Fishcombe or Churston Cove.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.

    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.
    Coffee Machine: Nespresso pod coffee machine, a few starter pods provided, guests will need to bring their own if they would like more.
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises, this included vapes. Smoking is also not allowed on the balcony.
    Property surroundings: The owners of White Star run the nearby Brixham Steam Packet Co. For guest’s safety, White Star has 24 hour CCTV within the courtyard area.

    This three-storey home has an integrated garage with entrance hall and utility on the ground floor, two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first, and the living room, kitchen / diner with balcony on its top floor

    Positioned on the top (second) floor) and open plan with the kitchen and dining area, this room features two comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and iPod dock. There are double doors which open on to the balcony.

    The open plan kitchen has plenty of worktop space and storage, with a centre island housing the dual fuel cooker (gas hob, electric oven). Other appliances include a microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher

    The separate utility room is off the entrance hall on the ground floor and has a washing machine, sink, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board

Welcome to Brixham

There’s a nostalgic feeling to Brixham holidays that makes them feel a world away from the daily grind; a friendliness from the locals who call the town home as well as a tangible connection to its seafaring past. This picturesque town perched quietly on Devon’s south coast is still a bustling fishing port, where clusters of colourful cottages in every shade of the rainbow seemingly tumble down the hill towards the harbour’s quay, with boats and trawlers offloading their daily hauls ready to be transformed into the local restaurants’ ‘catch of the day’.

Excellent location,and secure garage parking, with level access for shops and harbour just a very short walk away. Accommodation is very well equipped and very comfortable. Owner was very helpful, hospitable and a pleasure to talk to in his nearby coffee lounge, the amazing Chartroom.

The property surpassed expectations in that it was beautifully decorated and kitted out to a very high standard. The initial instructions as to how to find the keys were a little confusing but it was easy once you became familiar with the set-up.
