Tucked away on Mount Pleasant Road, this cottage has its own garage parking and pretty courtyard garden. Recently refurbished but still with original features, the atmosphere inside is cosy and welcoming with tasteful, contemporary furnishings sitting beside sash windows, exposed beams and fireplaces.

On the ground floor you’ll find an inviting sitting room with ample plush seating, a TV and wood-burning stove. Also on this floor there’s a lovely kitchen which overlooks the courtyard, a family bathroom, and a generous separate dining area with fireplace and space for six guests. The cottage’s three bedrooms are upstairs and include a spacious master with king size bed, a second king (configured to twins on request), and a small double. All are bright and airy with comfy beds and crisp linen.

Outside, the secluded courtyard and decking terrace make the most of warm weather relaxation and entertaining, where morning coffees or afternoon meals can be enjoyed in the fresh sea air and sunshine.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £250 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 1 pet allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.

    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
    Additional Extras: There is a cot available upon request, as these are not stored at the property, please add it to your booking if required.

    Accessed through the kitchen, the family bathroom is on the ground floor and has a separate shower, bath, wash basin, heated towel rail, cabinet, mirror and toilet
  • Outside
    The outside space to the back of the cottage is secure, so suitable for dogs. It’s made up of a raised decking terrace with an outdoor dining table and chairs for six guests. There’s also a small private walled courtyard which is sun-drenched on bright days, and this area is furnished with a bistro table and two chairs.

There’s a nostalgic feeling to Brixham holidays that makes them feel a world away from the daily grind; a friendliness from the locals who call the town home as well as a tangible connection to its seafaring past.
