Set within walking distance of Fistral Beach, 1 Quay Court is airy, bright and tastefully furnished, where a private roof terrace and a bedroom-balcony showcase lovely views over the bay and out to sea, and four generously sized bedrooms as well as three bathrooms mean plenty of space for a large group of friends or family.

Combining contemporary living with a great location, the house not only features a fabulous open plan kitchen/ diner and living area to create an inviting space for guests to converge in, but also has parking for two cars along with an outside shower for de-sanding under and surfboard storage for beach paraphernalia.

Being just minutes from some of north Cornwall’s most iconic sandy stretches means Newquay’s various surf schools and board hire companies are within easy reach so that taking to the Cornish surf is as easy as riding a bike (so to speak). For those who prefer staying dry, the South West Coast Path with its superb walks as well as the town’s many restaurants, shops and coffee bars mean plenty of land-based action, and if simply lazing in the sun all day is what makes you tick, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the many great beaches on offer both in Newquay itself and a little further along the coast.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £400 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas
    Number of steps: 1 external step and 3 flights of internal stairs
    Type of heating: Central heating
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

Offering a quiet sanctuary but still only a 10-minute walk away from the town’s shops and restaurants, Quay Court is in a fantastic position, with some of Newquay’s best beaches including Fistral being within easy reach of the development.

Way up hill!

Maybe we should have read the small print somewhere but this property is a significant climb uphill from the seaside/town. Not a (major) problem for this physically fit family but defo a no no for anyone with mobility issues or who doesn’t do exercise! Property was modern, clean and had a super view from the living area (just wish the Sainsbury’s logo wasn’t the most obvious sight at night). Specific gripes: that loud dripping tap in the kitchen SO audible from the sitting area, the fact that the Allen key on the window ledge of the bottom bedroom did not fit the window lock condemning the occupants to unpleasantly hot nights. We did contact the numbers supplied in search of a key that fitted: no answer! Also the low cost fascia of some of the kitchen units tended to detach from the hardboard doors beneath and one end of the kitchen units was hardboard only: not a functional issue but speaks volumes of ‘building down to a price’ Also this is NOT a property for those who seek to sleep at different times: the creaking from the ground to first floor stairs was spectacular! Also: the heating appeared impervious to our attempts to turn it down/off in the face of a lovely sunny September week (there’s a sentence one doesn’t often get to use. And yes, we did read the manual and follow the instructions. All in - would we go back? No. Did we enjoy our stay? Yes. Should you stay here? Well, by all means (especially if they fix that tap) but note that climb up from the beach!

Great views, great location, if u dont mind the hill walk back

The property was under construction of a new roof, which we received a discount four days before we were due to travel. It wad a nice good will gesture but we hadn't got any choice to change as it was too close to our stay. The view was impeded with the scaffolding that was erected to mend the roof which was a resl shame. We all thought the furniture was a little tired and the patio area and bbq was definitely in need of some tlc. The kitchen cupboards vinyls were coming off the majority of the cupboards . We all felt the property could do with some tlc and a deep clean. The welcome essentials were beautiful , thank you

Comfy beds , clean, all mod cons and canÂ’t complain about house , bit of steep hill to Newquay but not major and can walk through next door car park which isnÂ’t as steep - loads to do in area - would definitely come back

Went away for a short break with friends so we booked 1 and 2 Quay court. Perfect position, plenty of parking. Stunning views and both properties excellently presented. Highly recommended and we're planning to book again this year.

We love No1 Quay Court!

We love staying at No1 Quay Court ( we have been twice) the main reason being the perfect view from the balcony- you can see down to the beach and across the town, there is nothing nicer than sitting on the balcony with a drink watching the world go by. Location - great location in a quieter area but only a 10 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the town with all its shops, bars, restaurants and nearest beach (it is up a bit of a hill) but just take a couple of breaks on the way back up and you'll be fine, approx. 20 mins walk to Fistral beach and great links by road to the surrounding area - 20 min drive to Perranporth, Holywell Bay and all the gorgeous sandy beaches of North Cornwall. Cleanliness- everything was spotlessly clean with a high level of furniture / fittings Comfort - lovely comfy beds, good amount of furniture available in front room and dining room, great amount of cutlery/crockery/pots, oven , microwave etc Ground floor - 2 bedrooms and a bathroom First floor - main bedroom with ensuite , 2nd bedroom and main bathroom 2nd floor - open plan front room and kitchen / diner Overall a lovely place to stay - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hopefully we will see you again soon !
