Boasting that essential indoor / outdoor flow you’d expect from a luxury holiday home, the private terrace is accessed directly via the dining room and comes complete with a hot tub, BBQ and outside furniture. Inside, there's a fully equipped kitchen for whipping up a lovely home cooked meal or two, and four spacious bedrooms offer the perfect places to retreat to for a comfortable night sleep.

Set within a minute's stroll from the water’s edge and with direct access to a woodland walk, the surrounding landscape offers plenty of outdoor space to explore, while the lake itself bursts with ample opportunity for water-based adventure.

We ask our guests for a £150 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.

Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
Hot Tub: Electric. Maintenance is carried out daily however, in the interest of guest privacy and for minimal disruption, this may occur in the very early hours of the morning,
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: The resort caters for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the Devon lakeside setting. It’s also perfect for gatherings making the most of the on lake activities that are available on Roadford Lake.
Additional Extras: Hot tub robes and extra large towel available to hire for £9 per person

The lodge has parking for two cars in an allocated space at the front of your lodge.
There are a limited number of additional visitor parking spaces outside reception, on a first come first serve basis

EV Charger Point
The site has two EV charging points for guest use, situated along from reception in two designated parking spaces. The EV charging point is by MONTA. Guests will need to download the free MONTA app to make payment. We kindly ask that once your vehicle is charged, that you park in your lodge car parking space to ensure the EV spaces are free for other guests on the site.
If both chargers are unavailable, we recommend using the fast-charging station in Lifton, around a 10-minute drive away.

Amazing break at Juniper Lodge

A 3nt stay in this amazing lodge at Roadford Lake, Devon. Our family of 6 adults and 2 children had everything we needed with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious lounge, kitchen diner. Everything was clean and fresh and the kitchen had a huge cooker with all the utensils and crockery etc to cook all the meals needed. Beds were comfortable and always hot water for showering and bathing. The hot tub was a great addition and also the gym on site too. The site itself was immaculate and the location, walks around the lake were wonderful. We would love to return to Jupiter lodge in the future as we all had fun and memorable family time. My only criticism would be that the sofas were not very comfortable, although they looked nice and modern, the cushions on them were not supportive enough.

Quiet surroundings, with walks direct from the site, this lodge felt quite private due to the hedge

We stayed in Juniper lodge (no28). In arrival we noted it smelt clean, and mostly it was quite clean, better than we had experienced elsewhere. The sofas smelt and looked clean, there was a lovely big smart TV in the living room. The bed we slept in was comfy, the room was not dark enough at night/morning for me, but i take a blackout sheet with me., that works fine. The 2 washrooms were nicely finished. The kitchen had must things you would need, with a couple of dishwasher tabs included, cloth, dishwashing liquid, bin bag, and hand soap too. There were a few signs of wear, but that didn't spoil our stay. The hot tub was lovely, and felt private due to the hedge running from one edge of the lodge to the other. There is a shelf for throw away bbqs. We would stay there again!

Overall we enjoyed our stay, peaceful location, however cant say that we experienced luxury with all of the furnishings - dining table chairs were wobbly, sofa cushions frequently lost their shape, sofa was not the comfiest considering luxury is promoted. As a family we enjoy movie time after a day of exploring and a lovely corner sofa or a larger sofa would be advantageous for us to sit together. Also consideration for disabled access to the lake is needed, my son is a wheelchair user and we did not find access to the lake from the lodges are wheelchair friendly or easy to navigate.

Excellent 5 day break

Enjoyed a lovely 5 day break with my wife, two kids and mother in law. Lodge was well sited, immaculate, incredibly clean, well equipped and so comfy. Poured down one day and enjoyed a day at the lodge, in and out of the hot tub, playing the provided games, utilising the kitchen and listening to music through the smart TV's. The most relaxing of days. Nice walk by the lake and a super friendly café.

Stayed here while hosting a workshop at Roadford Lake and it was the perfect base for a mixed group. We were able to cater for ourselves and the rooms were all very comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy and well laid out. Would love to see it in Summer, and wish we'd had time to make use of the hot tub.

This is a fantastic lodge and set up for 8 adults in every way. Enough chairs at the table, comfortable sofas, room in the hot tub. Its a gem of a lodge, clean , comfortable and set in a lovely location. This is my second visit and will be back again.

Had an amazing week at Roadford Lodges, we stayed in Juniper lodge and must say, the lodge was beautiful, clean and had everything our big family of 6 could need (especially the hot tub) Entry and exit was seamless, location stunning and right on the edge of the lake. Fantastic lodge and great outside Would have loved to receive a welcome pack and locally sourced goodies ie Strawberry Fields Farm Shop especially as this is classed as luxury lodges. Plastic milk, a few tea bags, coffee sachets really is an no no, apart from that everything we needed.

We had a 4 bed which was great for 6 of us but may be a bit small for 8. Lovely site, Juniper Lodge is one of the better locations as no passing cars so hot tub is more private. Well kitted out in the kitchen. Bedrooms nice and a good size. Tiny tvs in bedrooms which wasnt a problem for us as we didnt need them on. Lovely bathrooms. Wine fridge was well used! Great sized oven and 5 ring bob. Very clean. Lovely walks around Roadford Lake. A no hassle stay. Great value for money, would recommend . Easy to find from A30

The lodge is perfect, We stayed as a group of 8, 2 families. It is well equipped with anything you could possibly need. The large communal area including the living room, dining room and kitchen was a great space so that we could all be together and it wasn't cramped. The lodge was clean and tidy and the kids enjoyed every minute. It is a quiet location, we enjoyed walking round the lake and the cafe on site was really lovely, staff friendly, we look forward to staying again soon, hopefully in the summer as the kids were itching to get in the hot tub! Everything was very well organised for a hassle free arrival. All guests have given very positive reviews about the property. The location was very peaceful and other lodges were far enough away that we did not encroach upon each other. The site itself was very well maintained and clean. Inside the lodge, we had everything we needed. We did run out of toilet roll as there were 7 of us with only 3 rolls provided but luckily we had brought our own as well. The hot tub was absolutely delightful and we did use it even though it poured with rain several times - with us in it! The kitchen really was fully equipped and everything worked well. One of our guests arrived a bit later so we parked three cars instead of the planned two on our hard standing. The cars were small enough to do this and did not overlap onto the road so access was not blocked. It really was a little bit of utopia for us all and we cannot be more thankful to the owners for providing such a wonderful space.

This was our first visit. (Group of 8 - 2 families of 4). We loved everything about it! The lodge was everything we had hoped for plus more! Very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay - washing up liquid, hand wash, dish washer tablet, parasol for the garden furniture, clothes horse, WiFi etc. We were all very impressed with the constant flow of hot water. The lodge was fresh, modern and spacious. The location was perfect with stunning views. I will definitely book the Juniper Lodge again.
