This gorgeous lodge has a large patio area complete with bubbling hot tub and outdoor seating for six, with wildflower meadows, open fields and woodland all on the doorstep.

A spacious two-bedroom retreat with high vaulted ceilings and a welcoming open plan living / dining and kitchen area, it's perfect for entertaining and relaxation with all the family. The French doors onto the patio help bring the outside in and are great for enjoying the fresh countryside air wherever you want to relax and unwind.

With two light-filled bedrooms and two bathrooms you have all the space you need for a rest filled holiday. Rose Lodge is pet friendly too meaning your four-legged friend can and join in the memory making in a wonderful location.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver: We ask our guests for a £150 security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. You may opt to pay a non-refundable £30 Accidental Damage Waiver instead, which you can apply during the booking process.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, £40 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
Hot Tub: Electric. Maintenance is carried out daily however, in the interest of guest privacy and for minimal disruption, this may occur in the very early hours of the morning,
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: The resort caters for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the Devon lakeside setting. It’s also perfect for gatherings making the most of the on lake activities that are available on Roadford Lake

There are a limited number of additional visitor parking spaces outside reception, on a first come first serve basis

EV Charger Point
The site has two EV charging points for guest use, situated along from reception in two designated parking spaces. The EV charging point is by MONTA. Guests will need to download the free MONTA app to make payment. We kindly ask that once your vehicle is charged, that you park in your lodge car parking space to ensure the EV spaces are free for other guests on the site.
If both chargers are unavailable, we recommend using the fast-charging station in Lifton, around a 10-minute drive away.

Review for 21 Roadford Lake Lodges We recently stayed at Lodge 21 and overall found it clean and comfortable inside. However, a few areas could definitely be improved to make the experience smoother. The exterior felt a bit neglected the outdoor furniture was dirty, and there were unnecessary leaves and debris that hadnt been cleared. It gave the outside space a slightly uncared-for feel, which was a shame given the lovely surroundings. Inside, the lodge was extremely hot on arrival. It would help if housekeeping closed the curtains beforehand and left the windows on the security latch to keep the temperature down for guests checking in. Another ongoing frustration is the onsite EV chargers being out of service yet again. This seems to be a recurring issue and really needs addressing, especially as many guests rely on them. Overall, the lodge itself was clean and pleasant, but a few practical improvements would make a big difference to the guest experience.

Nice lodge but needs improvement

A lot of cobwebs in places and in certain areas you can tell there was dogs there before us and we had to clean as soon as we get there. Overall it is a lovely lodge but luxury isnt a word Id use. The hottub isnt private at all and people can see you quite easily. Beds arent comfortable, in fact it really started to hurt my back by the end of the week as its a soft mattress

We were very impressed with the accommodation. Layout great. Furniture comfortable. All utensils you needed were there. Had a problem with TV but neither of us are technically minded! The site was well laid out & oh so peaceful. After many years of travelling in a variety of countries & types of accommodation, we both felt it could not be beaten. We are hoping to return next year with family.

The lodges are excellent with everything you could possibly wish for to be comfortable. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the orientation of some of the hot tubs which could be overlooked by others, although we visited at a very quiet time so this had a minimal impact on our stay.

Perfect Holiday

Park was clean, tidy with plenty of parking adjacent to our lodge. The outdoor space was lovely with a hot tub, comfortable garden furniture and with room to throw a ball for the dog. The lodge itself was spacious, well equipped, clean, tidy and private. The site staff were pleasant and polite. We treated ourselves to breakfast every morning at the Roadford Lake Cafe (2 minutes walk) which is to be recommended and then did a different walk each day with our dog around Roadford Reservoir. The site is close to Dartmoor meaning that each day we were able to access numerous Tor walks knowing we were coming back to such a comfortable, relaxing base.

A generously sized lodge with a lovely open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Pros: Big, really well equipped kitchen. Comfy sofas Tastefully decorated Lovely quiet location Cons Missing basic things like hooks for towels, shower caddies for shampoo, body wash ect Hot tub lights didn't work and was really overlooked by next door lodge. Poor outdoor lighting made getting to the hot tub at night quite difficult. Mattress was hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. Tv in the living room wouldn't work until we were signed in to amazon prime, luckily we have an account.

The lodge was as shown in pictures. We were not disappointed. Comfortable, clean and had all the facilities we needed. Quiet location. Nice hot tub, but very little privacy when using it. Not a secure area for dogs as hoped.
