Set within a tranquil location just 100m from Roadford Lake, Lilac Lodge makes for a dreamy escape and one that offers both nature and luxury in equal measure. Tastefully furnished and fully kitted out guests can cook, eat and relax to their hearts’ content with four lovely bedrooms as well as an airy open plan living space providing guests with plenty of to unwind in. Doors open out to the private terrace where you’ll be able to spend your days soaking in the hot tub or basking in the sunshine while lunch / dinner sizzles away on the barbecue.

Lilac Lodge is pet-friendly so your four-legged family members are welcomed, and a host of fantastic walking routes in the area means you’ll be able to enjoy fresh air adventure to your heart’s content. And for other member of the family, the lake itself bursts with ample opportunity for water-based adventure.

We ask our guests for a £150 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. 
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, £40 per pet per week (no cats please), in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
Hot Tub: Electric. Maintenance is carried out daily however, in the interest of guest privacy and for minimal disruption, this may occur in the very early hours of the morning,
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: The resort caters for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the Devon lakeside setting. It’s also perfect for gatherings making the most of the on lake activities that are available on Roadford Lake.

There are a limited number of additional visitor parking spaces outside reception, on a first come first serve basis

EV Charger Point
The site has two EV charging points for guest use, situated along from reception in two designated parking spaces. The EV charging point is by MONTA. Guests will need to download the free MONTA app to make payment. We kindly ask that once your vehicle is charged, that you park in your lodge car parking space to ensure the EV spaces are free for other guests on the site.
If both chargers are unavailable, we recommend using the fast-charging station in Lifton, around a 10-minute drive away.

The lodge was absolutely amazing . The only thing that we thought needs to be looked at is the heating as it is pre set meaning you are not able to control this and we found it to be cold at times as the weather wasn't great the weekend we stayed. Also because there was no heating meant all our towels and swim wear were wet all day as the heated towel rack was also off. This was the only issue we had overall.

This amazing, spacious, and comfortable holiday lodge provides the perfect peaceful getaway with great access to both Devon and Cornwall. We enjoyed the bubbling hot tubs, on-site gym facilities, beautiful lake walks, and fun daily visits from the friendly ducks we named Donald and Daisy! Just need to get the park owners to get the EV chargers working but no points lost as we were absolutely delighted with the lodge and surroundings

We travelled as a group of 14 with 3 dogs for a short break over New Years staying in 2 lodges. This was our second visit to Roadford Lake lodges and we loved it just as much as our first stay. The lodge was everything we hoped for, next to the duck pond which provided a lovely outlook from the living area. We were very lucky as the weather was perfect, waking up to a beautiful frosty winters morning on New Years Eve. The setting is stunning and we enjoyed lovely walks around the lake. Will definitely be returning

A beautiful lodge right next to the duck pond which was lovely. Had everything we needed for our stay over Christmas and the massive oven was ideal for Christmas Day dinner. Very peaceful location you will need a car. Lovely decor and beds were so comfortable. Great bathrooms one with a bath and one with a big walk in shower. Lounge very spacious with enough room for us all. Kids loved the hot tub and the board games. Great stay thank you

This is one of the best holiday lodges I've stayed at. I wanted something close to home for a half term break for my son, two grandchildren and myself. This was perfect. Great location, everything we needed and scrupulous clean. The hot tub was great and the ducks on the pond and added bonus!

Lovey lodge very well decorated and good location for a quite time away. The only thing we didn't like were the bunk beds as we were all adults but good if your a couple of families. everything we needed in the lodge but the hob didn't fire up on a couple of the gas rings. The hot tub was very minimal with the flow of the jets not sure if they were working correctly. Overall a very nice place and would recommend the park to others

Lodge is lovely, Nice and clean on arrival. Nice walks on your doorstep Lovely cafe, nice food Bed in the master bedroom was far too hard for my liking. There isn't much to do locally. You have to travel to bude for the beach and activites for the kids such as bowling., about 50 min drive. Hot tub lovely

We stayed 2 nights and the accommodation had to suit 7 people ranging from 17 to 95 in age! Having the accommodation all on one level was perfect for our 95 yo, although there were about 4 steps to access the lodge which were such a gentle incline that it all worked out perfectly. The hot tub was brilliant. We had a problem with the thermostat on the shower and the team sorted it out very quickly and efficiently. Kitchen well equipped but could have done with a frying pan (or 2) to make cooked breakfast for us all - we used a couple of woks which worked ok though. Extremely clean and well looked after, lovely deco, modern and airy. Plenty of space for all of us. All in all very happy with the accommodation and the service and would definitely stay again.

A lovely lodge, well positioned on the park next to the duck pond. Clean, spacious and well equipped. We didn't like the plastic glasses with no choice to use a glass for our wine. No tv in the bedrooms was a disappointment as we did have this luxury in another lodge at the same park. Also no welcome pack after a long journey was disappointing as this was something well received in the other lodge we have hired at the same park. Overall, a lively lodge and we would recommend

The lodge over looks the duck pond which was lovely, not very over looked. Spotlessly clean. Unfortunately we couldn't use the hot tub as the support bracket for the top was broken and we couldn't lift the heavy top by itself. Not enough pots and pans etc in the kitchen to cook the Christmas dinner for a large family. Had to go out and purchase a streamer to cook veg as only three small saucepans. No trays for pizza etc, no colander or sieve spoon. Not enough cooking utensils. Make sure yo take everything you need to use in the kitchen as no condements at all. No welcome pack at all. It was only the house keeping staff t on site that managed to decorate for Christmas as no decorations from the owner. Big thanks to the house keeping staff there really are amazing.

Beautiful lodge, nice location next to the duck pond. Clean, comfortable, very modern. Very enjoyable stay. One complaint I rang luxury coastal a few days before to ask if there was a welcome pack at the lodge of a few basics, told there was, on arrival there was nothing so we had to drive 9 miles for milk etc as our online shop was not arriving til much later and there is nowhere to buy a few basics nearby and no one in reception. Overall a very much enjoyed family holiday and would return if coming to that area in the future.

Summer holiday getaway

The booking process was very straightforward with Lilac lodge, we were torn between two of the lodges on site but glad we opted for Lilac. When we arrived we entered the main gate which is only accessible to guests, this added an exclusive and luxury feel to the site, we noticed how quiet and respectful all of our neighbors were and this was exactly what we were looking for! Our lodge was beautifully clean and tidy throughout and had a real homely feel, lilac lodge over looks a small duck pond where our children watched the ducks and rabbits every morning, this was a lovely little surprise for our youngest son who loves animals. The hot tub was a great addition and very simple to use, it was kept clean with daily checks by one of the onsite team. The bed were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you'd need for a holiday stay....the only thing I'd say is that there is no colander, we painstakingly drained spoon by spoon of rice which was a bit annoying but other than that we had everything we needed. The two shower rooms meant we had no squabbling over who was having a shower first, the overhead rainfall shower was a lovely little addition to the ensuite. Roadford lakes location was beautiful and quiet, the lake is just stunning at sunset and the various walks are perfect for any age, we did try the onsite cafe for a hot drink but we unfortunately didn't stop for food, the cafe was nice and clean, the staff were friendly and the coffee was ok, the cafe also has a little gift shop and ice creams as well as lovely views. Overall the grounds/location was beautiful and relaxing, the lodge was clean, well equipped and a good size but I only wish there was an essentials shop nearby, we spent a lot of money on fuel because there was absolutely nothing nearby which was the only thing we would say needs a rethink. We loved our family holiday at Roadford Lakes and we will be back next summer.

Excellent clean lodge in great location . My only frustration was that the dishwasher was broken . I contacted support via email who sent some one out who throw some salt in it but it still didn't work . I then sent a following two emails but nothing was done. It was a shame that this disrupted our stay and frustrating that it wasn't dealt with as we then had to wash up by hand . I did also go to reception but there was never anyone there

The lodge is absolutely beautiful. Comfy beds, nice and warm and all equipment you need including some board games as an added extra. No TVs in the bedrooms, but wiring was there ready I think? It's Situated right next to the duck pond which was lovely. The hot tub was so nice as well. . Small gym was open if wanted and so my son used it. Nearest beach 30 mins away at bude so was a lovely day out. Nice big lake with walking trail. The lakeside cafe serves a nice breakfast with friendly staff. I would suggest more than 1 dog waste bin should be supplied around the lodges and It's not that well lit up at night. Overall beautiful stay and would recommend.

Can't say enough good things about this lodge which is very new, spacious, comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen with a good sized fridge/freezer It is well positioned giving an excellent view of the duck pond with easy parking to the one side and the low level hot-tub is perfect for older people Their are some good walks around the nearby lake with easy access from the site to the cafe/conference centre. Good food to be had at the cafe including a breakfast menu The only downside is that a supermarket is 15 to 20 minutes, but did not spoil our holiday Had a great time

A beautiful lodge for a long weekend

This lodge is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean throughout. There were 8 of us in total (4 adults and 4 children) and we had plenty of space. The hot tub was lovely - it was all set so all we had to do was get in! The area is very quiet with nothing around - which is what we wanted! - but its quite a way to the nearest shop / take away, if you have this in mind. The lodge looks out onto a beautiful lake with ducks which was wonderful. The only thing I can think of which could have been improved was - we had no sorts of dishes/cookware that would allow us to cook for a big group, and there was no colander - so if you are planning to cook, bring your own. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic!
