Lying just 8 miles from Padstow and the beautiful sandy beaches of Cornwall’s iconic North coast, this very spacious accommodation with its stunning interior flaunts high quality furnishings and a range of at-home amenities.

A superb combination of luxury and comfort, the home-owner’s love of interior design is showcased throughout, with striking fabrics and one-off pieces of art creating a wonderful retreat. There are areas for everyone to converge together as a family, and places to steal away to when an hour or two of calm is needed. Two light and airy open-plan living spaces are perfect for unwinding, and four sumptuous bedrooms, all with TV’s and flexible bed configurations offer flexible sleeping to suit most groups.

Designed for all seasons, the downstairs living room features a wood-burning stove for cooler weather, with sliding doors opening to a wide, enclosed deck with a hot tub and outdoor dining set for when the weather's warm.

Upstairs, a second sitting area with its vaulted ceiling has extensive views from a huge A-frame window. and a long balcony offers guests a terrific vantage point over the lakes and surrounding hills. This floor also has a play area which is packed with activities and games including a climbing frame and dressing up box, doll’s house and many boxes of quality toys. The lodge has one cot and two highchairs as well as baby gates top and bottom of the stairs. The large outside playhouse is equipped with a play kitchen and little gallery area so children can recreate their very own miniature holiday home.

With a wealth of outdoor on-site facilities which include a year-round indoor pool, gym, playgrounds, fishing, and tennis; both young and old have plenty to keep them entertained and active during their stay.

Older children and adults, can brush up on their surfing skills with a turn (or two) on the Flow Rider surf simulator, while other water-based sports like wakeboarding, paddle boarding, and an inflatable aqua-park offer hours of fresh-air activity and fun. Grown-ups can indulge in a rejuvenating treatment at the on-site spa, and the restaurant for sit down meals and a takeaway service means there’s no need for guests to cook more than they wish to.

For days out with the whole family the surrounding area has many stunning beaches to explore which include Constantine, Harlyn Bay and Newquay, along with delightful Cornish villages and vibrant towns, all within a short drive from the lodge. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are approx. 30 mins drive.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £500 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: 3 small dogs or 2 dogs of any size accepted, £40 per pet, per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas. Please note that due to Resort rules, American Bully XL dogs are not permitted on site.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change). Please bring your own hot tub/beach towel
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

Our 5th visit to Retallack. We have seen a lot of changes. The facilities are lacking now for the number of lodges. Lodge 27 was comfortable abd we esp liked the upstairs living areas, the bedrooms and bathrooms. The hot tub was great, but the downstairs living area needs updating.

A great place all round owner popped in to greet us and wish us a great time place was clean and tidy however maybe a little bit tired here and there. In a great position for visiting beaches and various other parts of Cornwall. Site itself is quiet but has the shop,bar and restaurant etc.I would recommend visiting Tesco for a big shop rather than using shop on site as its obviously a lot more expensive. There was 7 adults and three children in our group and all had a great time here the great weather was a bonus. We would definitely recommend and would visit again.

It was a beautiful clean lodge. The man who attended it was lovely and helpful. Everything we needed was supplied and even more. We all felt at home there and wanted to stay much much longer! It was very spacious and the games and toys provided were numerous. Which my great grandchildren loved! The hot tub was superb for all of us and was used all day. We just had a lovely weekend chilling at Lodge 27. Thank you so much we will always remember our time there.

Lovely week at lodge 27

Lovely lodge with all amenities you could wish for. Very quick response to a couple of small issues by Dave. Plenty of cleaning products etc. Really really comfy beds but the rearranged bed in the playroom had no curtain so was very light and very hot! Children loved all the toys and the eve entertainment for littlies. Adults loved the hot tub 2 fridges! Only downside was a massive hedge in front of the lodge so no view but it did block the noise from the lake. Great holiday apart from the resort facilities, we would have expected them to be better for the price of the holiday, tennis courts were frankly dangerous as so gravelly, the pool was pretty small for such a big resort though the booking system worked well (only 30 allowed at once). Expected the watersports lake etc to be bigger. Flowrider looked amazing. Humps around the resort were too big for my MIL mobility scooter to get over so she got stuck a few times. My big beef was with the Lookout restaurant. Couldnt make a coffee for toffee and took an absolute age to produce them. When we tried to eat there (bank holiday sat) they let us take menus etc then when we went to order said that they werent taking any walk ins as they only had one chef. And freezing cold as air con on full blast.

Spacious and clean. Lots to do. Lots of resources. Plenty to do for all ages.cannot fault holiday home. Fantastic range of things for children at the house including wendy house table tennis and great array of toys. Only suggestions for home could be offer a change of towels midweek or orovide separate dryer as combination washer dryer one not suitable. For the site perhaps provide eg a pitch n putt or some kind of indoor activity when weather is poor oh and provide more dog bins.
