Set right on the beach in the beautiful village of Torcross, At The Beach is a collection of lovely apartments overlooking the three mile stretch of shingle and crystal clear waters of the bay beyond.

Arranged over two floors, 19 At The Beach is a taste of contemporary coastal living, with a spacious interior and stylish furnishings lending a luxurious feel to the property. Upstairs the large living / dining area is a welcoming space with angled walls that give an architectural flair to the room, and large windows at opposite ends basking the floor in natural light. A small window bench with sea glimpses makes the perfect reading nook or a great place to enjoy that first morning coffee, and a pair of tan leather sofas invite evenings of relaxation and socialising. Situated on the ground floor, the well-laid out kitchen is amply equipped for whipping up anything from a full English to a roast dinner, and a range of appliances and utensils make for a fuss-free stay that feels just like home. Sleeping four guests, the master bedroom is furnished with a solid oak-frame double bed as well as a comfy armchair and is located on the ground floor with one of the sofas in the living room converting to a double bed for additional sleeping.

The village of Torcross is set within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is fantastic for coastal walks and sight-seeing. Just a short drive away are the fabulous South Hams beaches at Blackpool Sands, Hallsands and Thurlestone, with Dartmouth being just a short drive away.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas
Number of steps: Side entrance with 6 external steps and one internal flight of stairs.
Type of heating: Central heating
Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests. In a recent speed test, the download speed was recorded at 33.7mbps and the upload speed 8.58mbps, as with all Wi-Fi networks we are unable to guarantee speed and connectivity.

Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

At the Beach occupies a prime position in the sleepy South Devon village of Torcross, perfect for those who like to kick-back and relax. Many of the apartments have wonderful views out to sea or across to Slapton Ley Nature Reserve, a haven for wildlife throughout the year and, as the name suggests, you can be on the beach within minutes.

Beautiful location and very dog friendly. Accommodation clean and well equipped. Could do with a tap outside in the comon area to wash off sand from foot ware and the dog.

Great little property right by the beach.If you like quiet this is for you.Great pub food down the road and farm shop 10 mins walk.However no convienience shop nearby so would recommend a supermarket delivery on arrival.The cricket inn is a great pub too in the next bay but be aware of tide times for walking back.Dartmouth 30 mins by bus(stop situated on your doorstep).

We enjoyed our stay in 19 At The Beach, lovely location right next to the beach and the coastal path a few steps away. There was a pub and cafe on the doorstep, with a farm deli just up the road. The apartment was well equipped and had a lovely layout. We tried to go for a few late evening walks, but there were too many flies, which was also the case when wanting to eat al fresco outside the apartment and somewhat ruined the occasions. However, we would stay again.

Xmas at THE BEACH

This was the second consecutive year we stayed at THE BEACH,Excellent location,very clean & presentable,some goodies left for us as well as nice Xmas tree,Very peaceful & quiet,located right on the beach with lovely walks,Regretfully we will be unable to visit next year & will be looking to book somewhere cheaper,Apart from cost could not fault..

Uncomfortable Bed

We recently stayed at No 19 The Beach and the parking/ accommodation was quite difficult to find using the Satnav. On entry to the property we realised that unlike every other accommodation that we had stayed in previously there was no milk or biscuits left so we couldnt even have a cup of tea. The top level of the property was dark and depressing so we tended to stay downstairs. The bed was awful really uncomfortable but the shower and towels were great. We would definitely not stay in this property again!

Lovely holiday

We absolutely loved it at 19 The Beach, if you like a quite laid-back holiday away from the bustle of larger towns this is the place for you. The friendly owner came and introduced himself and gave us a key fob to operate the barrier to the complex car park. The accommodation is very nice, tastefully decorated and has everything you could possibly want for a lovely holiday. There is a table and chairs outside the front door should you wish to eat alfresco but you will have the odd holiday maker pass you on their way out from their accommodation. The beach is a minute's walk from the front door which our dogs loved, if you turn left and up the steps it takes you over the hill and on to another beach which is much quieter. We hope to return soon.

We love the location.The accommodation is better suited to 2 people than four.Great place for those with small dogs.On our second visit we took fans which made a big difference. We hope to visit again next year.:)

We loved our holiday at 19 at the beach it's in a lovely position so handy for the beach..It was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our two week stay. John was on hand if we needed him, always pleasant. Nothing too much trouble. Having parking facilities was a bonus as that's often a problem with holiday lets. We will certainly be back and Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the beautiful South Hams.

Lovely apartment with everything you need. Great location by the beach and coastal path with a pub a few steps away. Only reason I gave a 4 for comfort and not 5 was that the mattress was really hard too hard for me but Im sure not for everyone.
