Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.

At the Beach occupies a prime position in the sleepy South Devon village of Torcross, perfect for those who like to kick-back and relax. Many of the apartments have wonderful views out to sea or across to Slapton Ley Nature Reserve, a haven for wildlife throughout the year and, as the name suggests, you can be on the beach within minutes.
More about At The BeachBecause we stayed At the Beach last year in number 1, which was spectacular in every way, this apartment was very different. There are no nice views. The seating in the lounge is not very welcoming or comfortable for elderly people. The showers were not very nice as there is black mould which is a health hazard and although it is a nice apartment, the wooden floors were very very dirty. I had new pink leather soft sole slippers and they become black after only half an hour of me walking around. The bedding seemed musty too and a tad damp. The window blinds had to be kept closed due to being potentially overlooked so it was dark and dismal and noisy from people outside the lounge window. We will not be re booking in the future.

Hi Richard, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, though were naturally disappointed to hear your expectations werent exceeded. Number 1 does indeed hold a spectacular spot, however, many guests comment on the sea and ley glimpses from the large lounge bay windows of Number 4 also being idyllic, albeit not quite so panoramic as Number 1. We are saddened to hear you felt you needed to have the blinds closed whilst sitting in the lounge for being potentially overlooked, this is not a comment we have had before as the pavement ground level is much lower than the window sill, giving a lovely elevated view onto the beach. The lounge furniture in Number 4 is mostly new and we understand that comfort is a personal preference but were sorry that this didnt meet your needs. The cleanliness and bedding points have been discussed with the housekeeping team and laundry suppliers, they are both greatly surprised by the comment, hold very high standards and do apologise if you feel these fell short on this occasion. We will be looking further into this to ensure the high standards are kept. We have stayed at 4, The Beach for the last 3 years - so it must be good! The new owners have made subtle changes that make the apartment even nicer. The apartment is on the ground floor, has a sea view from the lounge and a little enclosed patio with comfortable seating. There was plenty of room for us and the dog for our two weeks stay. The owner has said that next year he will be updated the bathrooms too. The parking can be little cramped but there is one parking space for one car per apartment.

Stayed at many properties here at the beach but would not stay at this one again as you can hear the people above so much.
