Embrace coastal living with a stay in this beautiful Torcross apartment. Perched on the far end of a three mile stretch of shingle beach, At The Beach apartments couldn’t be closer to the sea.

Sea views and spacious living are the order of the day at number 6 with a bright, light filled layout that embraces real coastal living. An open plan design incorporates the fabulously equipped kitchen and dining area into the living room, creating a sociable space to cook, relax in and enjoy a few wonderful meals together. A soft blue and neutral colour scheme throughout are in keeping with the apartment’s beach side location, and a wonderful balcony complete with bistro table and seating makes the ideal spot to enjoy an open-air breakfast or a refreshing aperitif.

Torcross is a small village that has a delightfully quaint atmosphere. The calm, safe waters are ideal for families; and miles of beach to run on make it great for dogs and their owners too. Positioned within easy reach of some of South Devon’s best beaches, Blackpool Sands is just around the corner, as is the vibrant and popular town of Dartmouth.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver
We ask our guests for a £150 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. 
Alternatively, a one-off, nonrefundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, £40 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas
Number of steps: There are 20 steps across varying levels from the car park to the front door of apartment. Please note that while the apartment is all on one level there is a large step between the main bathroom and the rest of the apartment.
Type of heating: Central heating with radiators
Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.

Please note that from 7th September 2026 until June 2027 the nearby public Tank Car Park will be out of action. You will still have an allocated parking space available in the At The Beach car park though.

From 7th September - 17th October, the sea defence operations work will be being set up in the Tank Car Park, and some noise will be heard during this time.

From 17th October, sea defence work to Torcross Sea Front will commence. The work will be dependent on the tides, with the rocks being placed when the tide is low, in a 25 metre stretch from the sea wall out to sea. The rock armour defence will be built in 5 metre sections within the low tide windows starting at the southern end (where At The Beach apartments are located), working in parallel along the beach towards the northern end slipway.

Completion of works is estimated for Spring 2027 time. It will take approximately 4-5 months to complete the main rock armour, so the works will be ongoing over the autumn and winter months, with the area around the car park and slipway. We anticipate that this will likely create additional noise in the area. For the first couple weeks of the work, as this apartment is sea facing, you will be able to see the work. For more information, please contact the Luxury Coastal Team.

For guest’s safety, CCTV cameras are located in the inner patio and on the outside of the At The Beach building.

*There is a maximum of one parking space for the apartment. Any additional vehicles left within the At The Beach car park may be subject to a £25 per day parking fine.

An almost perfect holiday property.

No.6 At the beach had an amazing view the could not be bettered in England.. The apartment and balcony could have been perfect if it was not for some minor things. Firstly, it was difficult to find the best was to get into the apartment with no specific instructions. A conventional jug/kettle should have been provided but was not. The occupiers of the apartment immediately above were very heavy footed making loud noise as they went across our ceiling. The occupiers of the end apartment of the two apartments immediately opposite, at 90 degrees, on the balcony, had a small dog. Whilst there were barriers to stop human beings from walking around to share our part of the balcony, that dog frequently invaded our space.

Amazing apartment - beautiful views from the balcony and rooms. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. The balcony was so lovely we didnt go out much in the evenings as it was so lovely sitting there looking at the view.

We have stayed in this apartment a couple of times and it has always worked well for us. There some quibbles about patio doors not opening easily but it does front onto the sea - its what you would expect! And help arrived very quickly to sort the problem. We love being able to sit on the balcony and watch the sea. Perfect.

A room with an incredible view

We booked no 6 as it had a balcony and on the corner so spectacular views. Great communication from agents. The flat was well equipped even for a Xmas lunch. Plenty of cooking utensils. They supplied the basics oil, tea, seasoning and wine. Which was very generous. The beds were so comfortable and our en suite had a jacuzzi bath. It was very stormy with the waves hitting the windows - invigorating. Plenty of heating and hot water. Some great local pubs Cricketers at Beesands and the bear and blacksmith worth a mention. Also a farm shop 5 mins drive There is a sauna at Blackpool beach. Amazing walks but wrap up warm. Really loved the place and a great price. Thank you.

We loved the location and position of the apartment and had a great week in Torcross. Our only issues were with the broadband being extremely slow at times if not unavailable and we thought the shower room could do with a bit of TLC. Apart from this we had a great time.

Would I stay here again-yes but only because I love the ever changing view. I feel this property needs some love and care to bring it up to a 'luxury' level as advertised. Sorry

We spent a lovely week celebrating our diamond anniversary at 6 at the beach in March. How lucky were we! We had it all, firstly the weather, the sun sea and the view. We were mesmerised by the sound of the sea, the waves breaking onto the shore, it was just great. The apartment was lovely well equipped comfortable and the view from the windows, wow!. However I must just point out to get into the apartment after parking your car you have a hike to the front door, hill climb and many steps to reach front door. It took us a hour to unload our car as we had to keep resting between unloading. The G&T after was worth the effort.

Stayed in number 6@the beach. Apartment is in an amazing location. Overall very clean, but a few things could be improved - rug in living room is grubby and curtains marked. Apartment has everything you need but there is a lack of cupboard space for food which you bring on a self catering stay. Also didnt find the freezer until day we left as it is located in a cupboard by the entrance this is something that could be pointed out in the information book. Access is not the best lots of steps and some safety lighting was not working by entrance gate which has a step and difficult to see as pitch black at night. Car park is located across the road from apartment so loading and unloading luggage is tricky. We stayed with a dog and the balcony area is open so they can stray onto other apartment balcony areas which could be an issue in a busier season when other apartments are occupied. The customer service for this company is excellent kept well informed and when we did contact were very helpful and efficient. None of the above would put us off returning for an out of season break.

No. 6 At the Beach

No 6 At the Beach is a very comfortable, dog friendly apartment with a large balcony with great views of the beach and Torcross village. Access to the apartment is actually via a gate opposite the private parking area in the side road to the block - we entered via the main entrance and found it very difficult to find No 6! A notice board with a map showing where each apartment is located would be helpful! Luxury Coastal Concierge were very helpful when we rang them and we had a very nice stay. The pub and cafes are very good but there isn't a grocery shop in the village, so nearest shop is the farmshop outside the village or in Kingsbridge.

Pleasant break by the sea

Whilst the apartment is in a great location it is in need of some internal and outside maintenance. We could not fault the incredible views from the balcony however the outside area is very tatty and obviously had not be cleaned prior to our stay. There were several other things like the bin under the sink had a broken lid. The Freezer needed defrosting and there were several broken Venetian blinds. The bedroom outside doors could do with some WD40 as there were very squeaky when opened. On the positive side the beds were very comfortable and we had a pleasant stay which helped with the weather being so good. With a little bit of updating this apartment could be so much better. I would recommend this property if the above issues were rectified.

It was a beautiful location, but the apartment did not feel clean. The Customer service was excellent & Torcross was a beautiful location with everything to hand including Stokely Farm Shop for all our provisions

Good base for a short break

Great location for the view and the beach but the village is a bit lacking. The only pub is dog tolerant, not dog friendly. The apartment is mostly very good though the shower room in particular needs some attention.
