Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival
Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas
Number of steps: There are 20 steps across varying levels from the car park to the front door of apartment. Please note that while the apartment is all on one level there is a large step between the main bathroom and the rest of the apartment.
Type of heating: Central heating with radiators
Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.

Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

At the Beach occupies a prime position in the sleepy South Devon village of Torcross, perfect for those who like to kick-back and relax. Many of the apartments have wonderful views out to sea or across to Slapton Ley Nature Reserve, a haven for wildlife throughout the year and, as the name suggests, you can be on the beach within minutes.

Stayed in number 6@the beach. Apartment is in an amazing location. Overall very clean, but a few things could be improved - rug in living room is grubby and curtains marked. Apartment has everything you need but there is a lack of cupboard space for food which you bring on a self catering stay. Also didnt find the freezer until day we left as it is located in a cupboard by the entrance this is something that could be pointed out in the information book. Access is not the best lots of steps and some safety lighting was not working by entrance gate which has a step and difficult to see as pitch black at night. Car park is located across the road from apartment so loading and unloading luggage is tricky. We stayed with a dog and the balcony area is open so they can stray onto other apartment balcony areas which could be an issue in a busier season when other apartments are occupied. The customer service for this company is excellent kept well informed and when we did contact were very helpful and efficient. None of the above would put us off returning for an out of season break.
