Overview

Set on the first floor, this tastefully furnished apartment’s contemporary living space lies open plan with the kitchen where a full range of appliances and amenities invites you to cook and entertain in complete comfort. Three luxurious bedrooms with flexible bed arrangements are perfectly suited to groups of friends and families and include a master en-suite with its own balcony access. Outside there’s a wonderful private balcony where you’ll have the best spot to soak up the sunshine and views, while inside the floor-to-ceiling glass creates a bright, light-filled space for chilled-out relaxation.

If you’re in search of a fabulous holiday destination that has something for everyone to enjoy, Falmouth on the south coast of Cornwall is the place. Outdoor adventure awaits with several terrific walking routes along the coast path to explore, the best of which is the walk to Maenporth which offers incredible views over the landscape and out to sea. The town’s clutch of museums and galleries infuse your stay in Cornwall with culture as well as a peek into its maritime past, and for beach lovers there are two beautiful sandy stretches to choose from, including Swanpool and of course Gylly, which is where this gorgeous apartment is based.

The Liner is one of Falmouth’s most exclusive developments and is just 20 metres from the Blue Flag Gyllyngvase Beach which means you can be out of bed and in the sea within minutes. The clear, calm water is excellent for paddling in the shallows with children, or for something slightly more energetic, kayaking and paddle-boarding. To complete your holiday experience, the fabulous St Michaels Spa lies mere seconds from the front door and here you’ll discover a range of indulgent treatments as well as on-site facilities including a hydrothermal pool, sauna, steam room, gardens and restaurant.

Your apartment’s kitchen comes fully kitted-out for you to whip up delicious home-cooked meals but let’s face it, holidays are for relaxation so you’ll be forgiven for wanting to eat out during your stay! Thankfully you’ll be spoilt for choice with the eateries on offer, all within easy reach of your doorstep.
:
Gylly Beach Café
This popular and best-loved café’s position right on the beach is second to none, offering fantastic views of the beach and coastline.

INDIDOG
Perched right on Falmouth’s Grade II listed harbour wall of the Fish Strand Quay and with far-reaching views over the River Fal and Roseland Peninsula, if you like your lunch to be accompanied by 'stop in your tracks' views, then this is the place for you!

Verdant Seafood Bar
When you’re this close to the sea it would be a crime not to indulge in some seriously fresh seafood, so with its menu of tapas and Cornish fish dishes, The Verdant Seafood Bar in Quay Street is the spot to head to.

Restaurant MINE
Amble the cobbled streets of the Old Brewery Yard and you’ll stumble across this tucked-away gem. The dishes here are simply sublime and all made using the best produce Cornwall has to offer in simple, playful dishes.

Harbour Lights
Scooping up several Fish & Chips awards for both taste and quality, Harbour Lights, which sits right near the National Maritime Museum, is your very best option for the crispiest, freshest and tastiest to eat in or take back to your apartment to enjoy round the table.

Reviews

Good position, very clean.
4.2/5

The development is well positioned opposite the best beach for the town, with a good cafe opposite and a Co-Op grocery shop below, most wants are catered for. The dedicated parking space is invaluable in season as well. The interior of the block is a bit of a maze and the location of the bins are not clear, but we got used to it after a couple of days. The view is pleasant, but being lower down in the building, it's not an expansive view across the beach - partially obstructed by the grassed roof of the shop. Still, there's a good balcony and you certainly feel like you're staying on the seaside. The furnishing is good quality, well maintained and everything you need, but quite minimal for the price. Little touches like a coffee machine and a DVD player would be good at the price point. Very clean though. Overall, I'd stay here again as it has all you actually need and a great location.

Hi Richard, Thank you for your detailed review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the location and found the development well positioned with convenient amenities nearby. We're glad the dedicated parking space was valuable during your stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding the interior layout and the bin locations, and we're pleased to hear you adjusted after a couple of days. While the view from your apartment wasn't as expansive as hoped, it's great to know you still enjoyed the seaside feel and the balcony. We're happy you found the furnishings to be of good quality and well-maintained, and we appreciate your suggestions for additional touches like a coffee machine and DVD player. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, so we're glad you found the apartment very clean. Thank you for your overall positive feedback and for considering staying with us again. We look forward to welcoming you back! Best wishes, The Luxury Coastal Team

Lovely beach side apartment
4/5

This is a lovely modern apartment situated over the road from the beach. Well equipped, comfortable beds, decent showers. Enjoyed the balcony facilities, good view over beach and nearby gardens. Good parking spot. The Co op downstairs is very handy. Excellent pizza van in the garden next door. Lovely walks all around, and only about a 20 minute walk to the town. We struggled with the code for the promised surf store in the basement- we needed to empty our gear from the car - but there was no note of this in the information pack. Luxury Coastal staff could not help, they suggested calling the building management company which we did, but no facility to leave a message and no call back. We then called the local contact (Di) who was very helpful, she managed to obtain several suggestions from the owner, which we tried and managed to find the correct one. So we got there in the end, but this information needs to be to hand in the apartment. Who wants to waste time chasing on holiday! Also, I’d make two suggestions to improve things: please use summer weight duvets on the beds in summer, not winter ones. We were mafted! And also, the bathrooms would benefit from a deep clean - the grouting etc is getting a bit grubby. Realise that the cleaning staff are on a tight turnaround, but unless a deep clean is invested in, the bathrooms will deteriorate. And that would be a shame in such a nice apartment.

Hi, Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the apartment’s location, amenities, and the local attractions. It’s great to know that the balcony view, comfortable beds, and nearby facilities added to your stay. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the surf store code, although the surf store that is provided with the property does not have a code so it may be that you were attempting to access the incorrect one. Your feedback regarding the summer weight duvets are very much appreciated. We would like to assure you that the grout in the bathroom is not dirty but is coloured and is regularly bleached by the housekeeping team. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon! Best wishes, The Luxury Coastal Team
