    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas
    Number of steps: 3 external steps and 1 flight of internal stairs
    Type of heating: Central heating
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

    Stepping through the front door this space with its double volume ceiling is spacious and bright, with two leather sofas and a chunky hardwood furniture
    Additional furnishings include a TV cabinet with large flat screen Smart television and Harman Kardon Soundsticks speaker system, Alexa, Bose SoundDock speaker, as well as a bookcase and modern floor lamp
    The room features a partially-open staircase leading up to the mezzanine level, and is open plan with the sunken kitchen / dining area
    Under the window are two fabric armchairs and an occasional table

    Accessed up the modern wooden staircase from the ground floor, this area has a sofa bed, bean bag seating and a Smart TV and Nintendo wii console

    Located on the sunken level down three steps from ground floor, the contemporary kitchen is open plan with the lounge and incorporates the the dining area
    The kitchen has granite surfaces and a range of large and small appliances including an integrated dishwasher, washing machine, electric fan-assisted oven and hob
    A large freestanding fridge/freezer, as well as a coffee machine, cafetiere, toaster, kettle and microwave
    An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are also provided

    A chunky dining table with a bench and chairs seating six guests

    Master Bedroom
    Located on the ground floor and accessed through the kitchen, the room is split into two levels with a ground floor portion and a king size bed located up two steps on a slightly elevated level
    The room is bathed in light from the large overhead velux window and has bedside lamps, an integrated wardrobe, floor standing full height mirror and bedside tables
    En suite bathroom which comprises of freestanding bath which is located within the bedroom, separate toilet and wash basin

    Bedroom Two
    Located on the first floor mezzanine, this room has a unique layout with its king size bed accessed up wide stairs into the 'eaves'
    A large angled velux window runs the length of the bed which is sunken into the platform
    Furniture includes bedside lamps, an integrated wardrobe, mirror and leather sofa bed

    Located upstairs on the mezzanine off the landing area
    Walk-in shower with rainfall shower head, heated towel rail, wash hand basin with mixer tap and WC

    En suite to the master bedroom which comprises of freestanding bath which is located within the bedroom, separate toilet and wash basin

    There is additional parking available in several local car parks, the nearest being Park Avenue long stay car park which is a 10 minute walk from the property

We had a fantastic stay at Mr Blue Sky. The perfect place for a weekend away in St Ives. Everything was perfect from the communication before arriving to the apartment itself. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Property was nice,could of been bit cleaner,found that there was a lot of hair under furniture and cobwebs in corners,bathroom was clean bedding was clean,but unfortunately I was physically unable to do much due to a medical condition I’ve just been diagnosed with and we had to return home,so we didn’t stay the whole week.

Best Accommodation So Far!!

Mr Blue Sky is by far the best accommodation we've stayed in, so far. The accommodation was exactly as described. The accommodation was spacious, clean and modern and the location was perfect. There are two bedroom's and an optional double sofa bed as part of the balcony room. Myself and my husband had the bedroom downstairs and my 20 year old daughter had upstairs to herself, which she loved. The accommodation was perfect for our dog and we loved that they had a stair gate, to stop the dog going upstairs. The accommodation is only 4 minutes walk to Porthmear beach and just 10 minutes walk to the town. St Ives was very pretty and picturesque, with a beautiful town and harbour and plenty of beaches. The accommodation and the location was perfect and we'd definitely stay there again.

Another wonderful stay

This is our second time at Mr Blue Sky . Again the place was amazing with an added feature the bath. Lovely gifts left in our arrival. The place was immaculate even our gog Froomy was happy to be back. Close to the beaches and centre 10 minute walk down side a bit of a climb back up. We can't recommend Mr Blue Sky enough will be back again next year.

A spacious apartment in a perfect location

The apartment is really spacious with the added bonus of a parking space. It’s also a short walk to everything St Ives has to offer, which is great. The living area is open plan and the 2 bedrooms are on separate floors which is ideal for couples or families wanting a bit of space. The booking process with Luxury Coastal was straightforward. The quirky layout wouldn’t suit all, with some things that could difficult for some, with potential trip hazards. The blinds are tricky to operate and would suggest an electric solution, rather than using a pole and balancing on bed to operate. The cleaner hadn’t done their properly, on arrival the beds looked inviting, but one of the bathrooms wasn’t clean with rubbish in the bin and dirty toilet. All mirrors were in need of a clean, which was very noticeable given the size of the freestanding mirrors. The inside of the front door appeared to be in need of a good clean. The flooring in the living room could do with being upgraded as it looks dirty, but I think it was just worn. Anyway on the cleaning front after driving a long way, I just cleaned things and got on with it which was ok. On check out the instruction manual said to strip beds and put bedding and towels by the front door, not what I would call luxury. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Perfect Weekend Retreat in St Ives

Lovely clean accommodation with an individual, quirky charm, we stayed with our 2 young daughters and my mum and her dog for my birthday weekend, perfect for all of us. Great facilities for kids with the mezzanine games area with Nintendo Wii and plenty of board games. Lovely comfy bed, the sunken one upstairs was a real treat with its attic feel. Great bathrooms and well stocked kitchen. The welcome pack of cream tea, Prosecco, juice, milk and biscuits was a lovely surprise touch. We will definitely stay again.
