Set over four floors and beautifully furnished, Salubrious Cottage flaunts a gorgeous lounge, three airy king size bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fabulous lower ground kitchen / diner that opens out to a fully enclosed courtyard garden.

On the very top floor, a surprise awaits. Here you’ll find a terrific snug with bean bags and a music system, as well as two balconies - one of which showcases superb views over the beach and bay and is the perfect place for morning coffees or G&T’s. Another highlight of this home is the outside space off the kitchen where you’ll find a dining set and BBQ so you can enjoy meals in the sunshine as well as evening drinks on hot summer nights. There’s also a hot water shower for de-sanding wetsuits and toes after a day on the beach.

Being a mere two-minute stroll from the harbour and only three minutes from Porthmeor Beach, this holiday home epitomises a St Ives seaside retreat. Fore Street with its terrific bakeries and eateries is virtually on the doorstep, while the famous Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Museum & Sculpture Garden are within easy reach on foot. Nearby, Carbis Bay is an easy walk along the coast path, or you can opt to take the short but extremely scenic train trip and be there within minutes. Further along the coast, Porthkidney Sands and Hayle are around twenty minutes by car, while Mounts Bay with its landmark St Michael’s Mount is just under half an hour away.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 1 pet allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas
    Number of steps: 1 step to access the property with 3 flights of internal stairs
    Type of heating: Gas central heating
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.

    Charcoal BBQ: Guests are asked to supply their own charcoal and firelighters
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

    On the top floor of the cottage (under the eaves), this room is light-filled and has two balconies – one with amazing sea views. With bean bags and a music system it’s a great space to chill out with a book or for simply taking in the views over a coffee

    The lower ground floor kitchen incorporates the cottage’s dining area and features granite worktops and a range of large and small appliances which include an induction hob, electric single fan-assisted oven and grill, fridge/freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher, kettle, cafetiere, toaster, microwave, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.
    A selection of glasses, cutlery, crockery, cookware and utensils is provided

    Open plan with the kitchen on the lower ground floor, it features a table, 6 dining chairs and a Smart TV

    All three bedrooms have duck feather duvets and pillows

    Situated on the upper ground floor, this room is furnished with a king size bed, bedside table and lamp, chest of drawers, a wardrobe and mirror

    This bedroom is on the first floor and features a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe, mirror and chest of drawers

    Bedroom Three
    Also on the first floor and furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe, mirror and chest of drawers

    Doors from the kitchen/diner lead out to a fully enclosed courtyard garden which is furnished with a table and chairs as well as a charcoal BBQ. This area also has an outdoor shower with hot water
    On the second floor there are two balconies off the snug, one of which overlooks the beach and has wonderful sea views. This balcony is furnished with a small table and two chairs

  • Parking
    This property offers an allocated space in the car park located at Ayr Court which is on Ayr Terrace which is 5 minutes’ drive away
    The long stay Island Car Park is 2 minutes’ walk from the property but please note that this car park is very popular so space availability is limited during the busier months
    There are also several alternative council car parks in St Ives
