Wedged between Crantock and Perranporth, with a golden dune-backed sandy beach and panoramic Atlantic views on show, Holywell Bay epitomise all that makes this part of the world so special.
If you’re in search of the perfect place for your holiday here, Sandyford which lies just a short walk from the beach, is a dream come true. The house forms part of the exclusive The Rocks development – an award-winning collection of 10 luxury homes which settles just behind the dunes and mere metres from the shoreline. Tastefully styled and with ample room for both socialising and relaxation, the fittings, furnishings and entertainment features of this home are all top-notch.

On the ground floor you’ll find four beautiful bedrooms each with their own Smart TVs, while upstairs there’s a gorgeous open plan living space with sea views where you can cook, eat, unwind and spend time together. For those who love water sports, Holywell is ideal for swimming, body boarding and surfing, and beach-based Holywell Bay School of Surf offers lessons and equipment hire to visitors of all ages and abilities. If you prefer sunbathing there are many sheltered spots to choose from, while children will love paddling in the rock pools or shallow streams at low tide.

Lying half a kilometre offshore, the iconic Gull Rocks (which featured in BBC One’s Poldark) form a dramatic backdrop for your day on the sand and in the sea, and when the tide is out, you’ll discover natural caves, rivers and waterfalls to explore. Just six miles west of Holywell lie the famous surfing beaches of Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay along with all of Newquay’s other array attractions. Or venture east to Perranporth and soak of the atmosphere of this quintessentially vibrant beach resort.

    Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £200.00 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
    Pets: 2 pets allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas
    Number of steps: 3 steps down from the car park to the front door
    Type of heating: Underfloor heating via an air source heat pump
    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.

    Coffee Machine: Delonghi Dolce Gusto
    Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
    Bedroom 3: Please note that the ceiling in bedroom 3 has water staining due to water leak which is now fixed. The area needs to dry out for a few weeks before the area is reassessed and repaired/repainted. This will be sorted by end of September 2024.

    A range of cookware, utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery is provided

Beautiful house in great location - fantastic autumn stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandyford! The house was really comfortable and extremely spacious. The large windows really made the most of the views and filled the living room with light. Everything was in immaculate condition and spotless. Very comfortable furniture and high spec appliances - felt like a real treat to be staying in such a gorgeous house. Excellent location - easy walk to a couple of pubs and short walk to the beach. Also great spot from which to explore further afield. Thank you to the owners - we would highly recommend Sandyford!
