Set within just a short amble of Newquay’s famous Fistral Beach, Ocean View is wonderfully placed for a coastal family getaway, and with four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms there’s ample room for eight guests to get seriously comfy.

Arranged over three floors, the elegant living room can be found on the first, and with access out to a small, unfurnished terrace it’s the perfect place to enjoy lazy afternoons curled up with a cup of tea and a good book – doors open and the sea air drifting in. Sharing this floor is a spacious twin bedroom (which can be made up as a king); the utterly gorgeous family bathroom; and the magnificent master suite with king size bed which has its own wall-less shower room for an added touch of decadence. Sprawling across the second floor is a sleek open plan entertaining space made up of a fully equipped kitchen and a roomy dining area. This floor spills out onto a fabulous, furnished terrace with views over Fistral and out to sea, so for a light lunch or evening drinks, there’s no better spot to while the hours away.

Upstairs at the very top of the maisonette, a lovely triple aspect bedroom along with a second twin and a shower room, create a fantastic option for families with children in tow, but is equally well-suited to two couples sharing the floor as the twin beds can be linked to form a super king size bed.

Just five minutes’ walk from Ocean View, the town centre bustles with life as its restaurant scene and surf culture add an energetic vibrancy to its streets, and for visitors of all ages the town’s aquarium and zoo are two great choices for spending a family-friendly morning or afternoon together. However, its Newquay’s iconic beaches and wave-based lifestyle that draw holidaymakers to this slice of Cornish coastline all year round, so if you fancy suiting up and heading out past the breakers, there are numerous reputable board hire companies and surf schools available right on Fistral’s doorstep.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £250 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change) Please let us know the bed configurations at the time of booking, if not your configuration needs may not be met.
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.
Coffee Machine: There is no coffee machine but there is a cafetiere.
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.

Located on the first floor, this lovely room with its exposed stone feature wall and access to an unfurnished balcony, has two stylish sofas, a coffee table, occasional tables and a television cabinet with a flat screen tv and Freeview.

The amply-equipped kitchen is on the second floor and is open plan with the dining area. Offering plenty of worktop space and storage, the kitchen features a range of small and large appliances that include a gas oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, cafetiere, iron and ironing board, and vacuum cleaner

Incorporated into the kitchen space, the dining room is furnished with a sideboard and a large table with seating for eight. Doors lead out from this room to the decked, furnished balcony

Situated on the first floor this wonderfully spacious room is furnished with a king size bed and has two bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table, stand alone wardrobe and mirror. The room features its own uniquely designed un-partitioned shower room

Located on the first floor, this lovely twin room has two single beds that can be zipped together to form a super king size bed. The room includes a stand alone wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps

Bedroom Three
Situated on the top floor, this bright room is furnished with a double bed and includes a chest of drawers and mirror as well as a dressing table and bedside tables with lamps

Bedroom Four
Also situated on the top floor twin room has two single beds that can be zipped together to form a super king size bed. The room includes a stand alone wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps

Located on the first floor the large family bathroom features a freestanding bath tub with hand held shower as well as a hand basin set into a hardwood plinth, mirror, heated towel rail and WC

The en-suite shower room to the master bedroom on the first floor, this strikingly designed room features a contemporary black shower, a hand basin and pedestal, an overhead mirrored cabinet and WC
