Highfield Barton is a sublime find. Tucked away in the Cornish countryside yet only a short drive from the miles of sandy beaches surrounding St Ives Bay, this beautifully spacious property is packed with creature comforts, and lends itself perfectly to glamorous gatherings and carefree multi-generational family holidays. Amongst its many assets, the house has vast verdant views from nearly every room, a log burner in the living room, a self-contained games room, a sprawling garden with three sun-drenched terraces, a bbq, hot tub, and a drive for 5 cars.

Set over two floors, guests can pick from four tastefully appointed bedrooms, all light-filled and airy with ultra comfy beds. Three are on the top floor and include a twin room with beds that be joined to form a super king on request. The two remaining rooms on this floor are both kings, one of which is the master with its own big en-suite bathroom and double shower. The fourth is a super king bedroom on the ground floor which has access to one of two luxury family bathrooms (the second being upstairs). The bed in this room can be separated into twins on request.

Designed for socialising and entertaining, the heart of the home is on the ground floor where you’ll find a sumptuous living room with log-burner and sliding doors out to the garden, and a massive kitchen which has been fitted with top notch appliances. A beautiful big dining table completes the space so guests can cook, eat and unwind in complete comfort.

Ideal for making the most of the area’s sandy beaches, holidays at Highfield Barton centre around the coast with Gwithian, Godrevy and Upton Towans being around 15-minutes’ drive, and Carbis Bay about 25 minutes. St Ives with its galleries, independent shops, restaurants, harbour and beaches is half an hour away.

    Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver: We ask our guests for a £250 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. 
    ​Alternatively, a one-off, non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
    Pets: 2 pets allowed, £40 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

    Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (if your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
    Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

A spacious patio accessed through sliding doors from the living room features a dining area complete with a charcoal barbecue—perfect for meals in the sunshine. A separate terrace, furnished with comfortable outdoor armchairs, offers a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, while a secluded sunbathing area in the corner of the garden is the ideal place for soaking up the rays. A huge lawn means guests have all the space they need for outdoor games and entertainment
