Set in a quiet location above the town but within walking distance of Porthmeor Beach and St Ives town and harbour, this holiday home couldn’t be better placed for a magical seaside holiday on Cornwall’s iconic north coast. Carbis Bay and Hayle lie just a short drive away as do Porthkidney Beach, The Towans and Gwithian.

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a wifi dongle.

The spacious master bedroom is situated on the first floor off the stair landing and has wonderful sea views. It features its own en suite bathroom, a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, mirror, chest of drawers and hanging space

This second bedroom is also on the first floor and has lovely sea views. It is furnished with twin beds, bedside tables and lamps, a mirror, hanging space, a chest of drawers and mirror.
There is a travel cot stored in the eves cupboard and a hairdryer in a drawer

There’s something special about holidays in St Ives and we just can’t quite put our fingers on it. It could be the beautiful light that’s attracted artists to the resort for generations, the cobbled streets and coastal views…or that feeling of being a world away from the hustle and bustle. Whatever it is, St Ives has a charm that’s unlike any other, and we’d recommend it at any time of year.

Lovely location but in need to some TLC

We recently stayed at Windsor lookout for a week, the location is 10/10 with amazing views. I would say the apartment was ok but in my opinion it is in need of some TLC - constantly dripping kitchen tap, broken window in bathroom which would not open, numerous bed slats missing, kitchen kick boards missing, rusty radiators in bathroom to list a few. The kettle is in desperate need of replacement, it was orange inside so unfortunately I decided not to use it and ventured out for all my hot drinks! The microwave was also starting to rust on the inside of the door. The apartment wasnt the cleanest on arrival, there was visible thick dust under all the beds, most of the skirting boards and the stair case. There were also hairs visible on the towels provided, luckily I had packed our own. The rear entrance to the property was out of use, had this been available it would have made life (especially with children) a lot easier! Overall, we had a great time in St Ives and enjoyed our holiday but unfortunately we would probably not return to Windsor lookout on our next visit.

My eight-night stay at Windsor Lookout was all I hoped it would be. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, within easy reach of the town and its many attractions. The five-minute walk into town takes you down through narrow streets of picturesque cottages; alternativelyagain a five-minute walkthere's a slightly steeper descent with amazing views over Porthmeor beach and the open sea. Through the apartment's window, facing east, you see the harbour side of town and right over the bay to Godrevy lighthouse. The apartment is perfectly quiet with a good range of facilities; specially mentioned would be the immaculate bathrooms. Parking is easy in the reserved areain a town where parking can be a real nightmare. I would not hesitate to book this accommodation in future.

Beautiful property - pleasant stay

Everything was outstanding except for the sleeping arrangement. We had booked for 5 adults which obviously meant that we would need 5 bed spaces. The flat had four bed spaces (2 single and 1 double bed), upon enquiring with the caretaker she informed us that we had to request in advance if we wanted 5 beds. She explained that there was a sofa bed which we can setup ourselves, which we did but was slightly unexpected.
