Positioned on the ground floor of a New England style apartment building, Rockpool at Salt is all on one level and has a fabulous terrace running its entire length as well as a private garden with lawn and raised beds. Sliding doors give access from the living room and bedrooms to the outside, where a bubbling hot tub and contemporary outdoor furniture create the perfect sun trap for enjoying fresh air dining or a relaxing soak.

Inside, the living area is open plan and airy with two sink-in sofas and a large coffee table, while the sleek, neatly proportioned kitchen is fully equipped to prepare anything from a simple breakfast to a lavish feast. The open plan dining room with its chunky Provencal table and six beautifully upholstered chairs is an inviting space for spending time together, while three superior bedrooms offer guests their own sanctuaries to retreat to after days spent down on the beach. Sophisticated wallpaper designs, upholstered headboards, pintuck cotton bedding and damask soft furnishings lend a luxuriously tactile quality to each of the bedrooms, while the quiet setting and garden views inspire complete relaxation and lazy mornings spent in bed.

Famous for its turquoise waters and beautiful surf beaches, St Ives benefits from a warm subtropical climate that makes it an idyllic holiday destination on Cornwall’s south eastern stretch of coastline. Explore the town’s winding streets and narrow lanes where a rich art culture is apparent, or shop in one of its many boutiques before sampling the local produce in a seafood restaurant overlooking the harbour.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £250 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: 1 pet allowed, £25 per pet per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas

Porthminster Beach is less than 10 minutes' walk, as well as the local tennis club. St Ives Leisure Centre is 7 minutes' walk away.

Fantastic stay in St Ives. Rockpool is a great base to explore Cornwall by car or on foot. The property has 3 bedrooms, 2 ensuite plus a bathroom for the third bedroom off the hall so would comfortably accommodate 6. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are open plan with double doors opening into the hall, plenty of space. Outside a patio area runs the length of the property with adjoining private garden and the hot tub is tucked away to provide privacy. The car park and single allocated parking space is accessed through electric gate, additional 2 guest parking spaces are located on the road side of the gate on a first come basis, there is also an external shower off the car park although we didnt use that. Well maintained, well fitted and clean. A great stay.

Lovely spacious, garden which was ideal for dog, lovely hot tub which got cleaned 2x. Bit of a climb back uphill but definitely worth it. Would definitely come again.
