With four floors of well-designed living space, the cottage’s front door opens into a modern, well-equipped kitchen at street level, complete with a breakfast bar and two barstools — a sociable spot for morning coffee or a simple meal. On the first floor, the living room is light, spacious and welcoming, with two contemporary sofas, a big Smart TV, and window seats with upholstered pads and cushions. Original features, like deep window reveals and exposed stonework, reflect the building’s heritage and add to its charm.
On the second floor, there’s a calm and comfortable double bedroom with a Smart TV and its own window seat. The family bathroom is also on this floor includes a bath with a rain-head shower above. At the top of the home is a second bedroom designed with families in mind. It has a double bed and a single bed, as well as two Smart TVs. This room, though open to the stairwell and landing, is private, airy and comfortable, with sea glimpses beyond the rooftops.

Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver: We ask our guests for a £100 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Alternatively, a one-off, non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
Pets: 1 pets allowed. £40 per pet, per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. (If your holiday is longer than 10 days, please contact the Luxury Coastal team to discuss a mid-stay linen change)
Wi-Fi: This property provides free Wi-Fi for our guests. There may be occasional variations in speed and performance due to factors outside of our control. If you're planning to work during your stay, we suggest bringing a Wi-Fi dongle as a backup

Positioned on the second floor, this bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a bedside table and lamp, mirror, wardrobe, chest of drawers and Smart TV with Freeview. The thick stone walls and window reveals give the room a peaceful, cosy feel.

Bedroom Two
Located on the top floor, this open-plan eaves bedroom has a double bed and a single bed with bedside tables and lamps, making it ideal for families. It has two Smart TVs with Freeview, exposed trusses and windows offering a view over the rooftops.

Positioned on the second floor, the bathroom features a bath with a rain-head shower over, hand basin, mirror, heated towel rail and WC.

If you want to stay in the heart of St Ives this is the place to be..you are only a 15 second walk to the harbour shops and restaurants. Its a perfect base to explore at Ives from. The cottage was clean and beautiful interior. Whilst the parking is awkward (steep and a distance from the cottage) we were aware of this upon booking but would cause issues if not physically fit, however that doesnt deter from the beautiful fisherman quirky cottage experience. We only gave 3 stars for comfort but that was because the main bedroom floor has a good slant on it hence the bed is not level so we didnt sleep well at all..and kept rolling to the right. Whilst we understand the cottage is full of character the bed could be easily rectified to help a good night sleep. Wouldnt stay there again unless in the knowledge that the double bed was made level.

My partner and I stayed at Fond Memories Cottage in early Sept 2025. The cottage was lovely and had high quality kitchen appliances to make our stay comfortable. The location is superb, being only about 100 yards from St Ives harbour. There is no parking space for the property, but I soon learned that this is normal for virtually every house in St Ives!..... communication with the agent was nice and easy. I would definitely visit again
